This is a great little hotel for a one or two night stop over. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The rooms are on two levels and look out onto the pool and picnic area. The pool is quite large and there is plenty of room to spread out. Attached to the hotel is a family style bar and bistro which serves pub meals slightly on the expensive side but fairly typical for NTT. Poker machines, darts and pool table for some night time entertainment was an added bonus and seems to do a very quiet trade. The rooms are dated but clean and homely. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is also a laundry and clothes lines for guests which was very handy. My only complaint would be that the air conditioner which was quite a powerful one given the size of the room was badly situated as it blew across our faces all night even on a low setting. As for Litchfield...I definitely think you need two days to really enjoy the swims and walks especially if you stop at Berry Springs on the way down. I loved Wangi Falls and could have spent the day there.
