Comfort Inn Lincoln Downs

This hotel gets something of a hammering on another well-known site for hotel reviews, but I found it quite O.K. It's a good standard hotel, quite clean and comfortable, about ten minutes' walk from the centre of the town. I would not, however, rate it as a four-star place, but rather at three-and-a-half.

I stayed here only for 1 night for business in the area. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. Set overlooking a river and has resident peacocks. Telivision reception was poor and non existant at times. Internet is charged at $4 per 3 hours. The bathroom was basic with shower in bath, it took a while for the hot water to start and the Tap came off in my hand. Needs a revamp if only the bathrooms.

Lovely spot just out of town, but easy reach to amenities. Recommended also for their facilities for disabled travellers.

Good value for money motel. Good position right on highway 1. Mamager only too happy to be of assiatance with all enquires. Good bar. Restaurantlooked good although never had reason to use it. Room clean and very comfortable.
