“Best Location in Bath”

The Best Western Abbey Hotel in Bath is in a perfect location to explore all the delights Bath has to offer, for example you are less than a minutes walk away from the most famous attraction of all the Roman Baths. The Hotel is in good condition and well serviced by all the staff. The all important breakfast is just what you need in preparation before venturing out and about and will not disappoint. I would recommend this a hotel to any traveller.

“Midpriced Comfort”

We're cheap travelers, and we decided to splurge on our one night stay in Bath, so we opted for this hotel. It was a bit much for us, but the hotel was lovely, and we felt we got our money's worth. However, be aware that your room does not include breakfast, that's quite a bit extra (yikes!) so we opted instead to walk about three minutes for a fresh bakery breakfast. The hotel was kind enough to keep our luggage after we checked out so we could go on a day tour of Stonehenge. No regrets from this place, it was great!

“Location, location, location”

The Abbey Hotel is ideally located just a few steps away from the Abbey and the Roman Baths. Our room, facing the courtyard, was very comfortable and quiet and the staff very obliging. Our son-in-law and granddaughter stayed there the week before us and our daughter, a few days later; and all were pleased. It can be noisy when the pubs close of an evening, I'm told, but that's just part of all the activity going on in the nearby plazas. Bath is sheer joy..

“Value for money at late booking rate”

This hotel is conveniently located for walking around central Bath. It is comfortable, but furnishings/decor are in need of updating. Out twin bedroom had everything we needed but was rather cramped for more than a short stay. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed with bath and overbath shower. The reception staff were extremely helpful and the lounge area was pleasant to have a drink in, although the coffee was disappointing. We did not eat in the dining room, as the dinner menu was basic bar food only.

The location is everything: abbey, Roman baths, river, gardens, all are a few steps away; and the hotel is a clean and comfortable base for the experience.

“Very convenient for the centre of Bath”

The hotel is ideally located for the centre of Bath with the shops and local attractions in easy walking distance. My only complaint is the lack of parking. You have to use a nearby pay-and-display car park. Beware, the hotel does not offer any discounts on parking and the maximum ticket length was for 11 hours.
