“What a little Gem.”
We visited the hotel for our wedding anniversary and it was a lovely treat. Our room was lovely and cosy and the hospitality superb. The hotel is recently decorated and very fresh and homely. Breakfast was wonderful and the team organised a fantastic hamper for our room, at the request of our son and daughter, as a surprise. The hotel is a short walk from the town, close enough to walk in and out to change for the evening and drop off your shpping (some fab shops). Jamie recommended some fabulous restaurants, we especially enjoyed the Tapas bar on the way into town. This was our first visit to Bath and to Brindleys and we would definately go back as there is so much more to do in the area than we had time for on our weekend break. The Roman Bath is a 'must do' as is the Thermae Spa, fab. Our thanks to the team at Brindleys.
“A Great Find”
We had a great time in Bath running in the Half Marathon there. Afterwards Brindley's was a very pleasant place to settle back and recover !! The staff were very friendly and had a good knowledge of where best to eat etc. in the town. The rooms were presented to a high standard and the all round feeling and ambience was of good quality. We would thoroughly recommend staying there (even if you were not running!)
“excellent”
My wife likes a room to be clean and tidy. This ticked the box i was happy to pay the price for the quaility of accomandation the only down side was the room was small, but well presented. We love going to Bath and will stay here again
“Excellent stay in Bath”
My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night as we'd wanted to visit Bath for a while. I wasn't sure whether to choose this independent B&B or one of the larger hotels, and although Brindley's isn't cheap it seemed better value than my other options, and breakfast was included! We had an easy walk from Bath city centre and arrived to find the owner putting Christmas lights up in the front garden. He immediately stopped what he was doing to welcome us into the B&B, giving us a bit of info about Bath and personally showing us to our room which was lovely and included a thoughtful hospitality tray with chocolates! From the photos online I was expecting the room to be quite twee but it was more neutral and stylish than I'd thought. Great little bathroom with giant fluffy towels, and the room had free wifi with the code displayed on the room info on the dressing table. There are 6 rooms in total and Brindleys was quiet, cosy and very homely - if your home is immaculate! The next morning breakfast was great - a selection of cereal and croissants and a hot menu to choose from. We opted for the full breakfasts listed but other guests were picking and choosing individual items which was no trouble at all for the owners (who were running the place themselves). On checkout we were asked if we wanted to leave our bags whilst we had another day around town. Genuinely friendly place, great service, I'd love to go back next time we're in Bath.
“Clean room in good location...nothing more”
Nice B&B. New renovation, friendly staff, fairly good location- close to town in neighborhood without noise. What is missing is any kind of sitting room or grounds. Basically other than your bedroom you have nothing but a hallway and small 6 table breakfast room. No drawing room, or garden to look onto......nothing but a place to sleep.
“Brindleys Bath”
Great location. Room was very small but beautiful.
