“I will be going back to this place really nice. Better then a lot of hotels I have stayed in before.”

Front desk lady was really nice. Everything in our room was clean comfy. The fridge was a little loud but over all had a good nights sleep.

Area recommendations
Corning and both finger lakes.

“SUPER PLACE TO STAY!!”

This was a wonderful way to start our little mini vacation to the Finger Lakes. The room was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this place to stay to all my friends and family!!

“Clean n Nice”

Clean, inexpensive, and fairly new. Small rooms but thats Microtel !

“Good basic Motel”

This is my second stay here, and I will stay here again. The motel is very covenient to the highway, and several chain restaurants are nearby, as well as some gas stations. Nothing fancy, but perfect for an overnight stay on a 2 day trip.

“A good hotel near corning”

Looks like a renovated hotel. Looks good from the outside as well from the inside. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Very poor breakfast!

“Good for a short stay”

Located in Bath, close to Keuka Lake, though far for other Finger Lake locations. There are a number of fast food restaurants nearby as well as Rite Aid and Walgreens, and a Sunoco. Rico's, a local pizza joint across the street, was good. The included continental breakfast was simple, but okay. The maid service was okay, the hotel is trying to be "green" saving on washing towels, changing sheets, etc. But if you want fresh towels and sheets each day they'll accomodate. The walls are "thin", and you hear the adjoining room's TV, alarm clock, etc if they're set loud. Overall, good for the price.

Area recommendations
Definitely go to Hammondsport. about 10/15 minutes away. Beautiful lake town with wonderful shops. Stop in the Union Block Italian Bistro for a wonderful Italian dinner.

“Love it!”

We stayed at the Microtel Inn for one night - friendly staff, new building and very nice rooms (stylish, colors were nice, fridge, desk in the room, lots of space). A/c worked great; bathroom was nice and packed with everything as expected. Breakfast in the morning was good - basic stuff. If travelling to Bath or Watkins Glenn (30 minutes ride) - I will definitely stay in Microtel. Very recommended!

“All hotels should be like this”

I knew what I was getting into with Microtel, but was extremely satisfied with this hotel. My room was spotless clean with comfy beds. I was at a concert the night before and got in late; therefore, didn't get up early enough to partake in the continental breakfast. However, I saw the breakfast area and that was also spotless clean. The desk attendants were also friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and think that other hotels should take lessons from this one.
