“Great locatation, great staff.”

Located about a 10 minute walk to the center of the town. The staff was evry friendly and helpful, suggesting sights to visit. Breakfast was excellent . There is off street parking behind the building.

“Sleep well in the city of rest.”

The Pultney House was an excellent stay. It is in a good location, with quality staff, and comfortable accommodations. The breakfast in the morning was tasty and had an adaquate variety. It offered free wi-fi, a compiter for use and a den to relax in. A great location for a home base to explore Bath or for a night away in the country.

“Definitely would stay again, in another room!”

Three Ups: Beautiful Property, Wifi, Daily room service, well and close to everything Three downs: The single ensuite on the first floor (2d if you're American), is really a single room with a private bath at the opposite end of the hall. They provide a bath robe in case you didn't carry one. The satellite TV didn't really work, and I still need to tell them about it. And as one other reviewer noted, the breakfast time. I was at a conference and so we had to be there by about 0800. No time for the breakfast but for the first and last days. Also, if you drink a lot of water, getting bottled water is a pain. I found the Tesco Express on my last day (Bathwick Hill), and so I wasn't able to stock up on water like I normally do when I travel overseas (I drink a gallon each day). I can't wait to get home so I can drink filtered water and get rehydrated! I hate that half the world hates water and then it's not easy to get when you're on vacation. I'd recommend the restaurant "Same, Same, but Different" if you can find it on up the hill towards the Assembly rooms. Pretty much tourist free.

“Great staff”

Warm and inviting staff. Room was in seemed to be a converted carriage house. The walls between the rooms is paper thin so we heard everything going on in the rooms around us.
