Lovely welcome

Felt very welcome and well looked after. Breakfast lovely with lots of choice. Room beautiful, though double bed a bit small for us; kingsize bed would have made it perfect! Would definitely stay again, and will recommend to others.

Country Cottage retreat, perfect in every way !

Posted Nov 1, 2014
Pros: The Host and the truly genuine Cottage experience.
Cons: We found that we couldn't discover anything we'd improve upon
Location: Very quiet area but within easy driving distance to Bath and other Somerset attractions.
Where do you start, our experience October 2014 was a delight, could not praise our host "Tim" enough to do his hospitality justice. Tea tray on arrival, log fire lit in the Lounge for us, advice on local eating places, bus services, etc etc. Room (King Size bed) was spotless and fully equipped, Tea & Coffee plus the unusual addition of two bottles of water. Awards won for the Breakfast and it's easy to see why, lovely grounds with the added attraction of Chickens and Goats both of which contribute to the "fresh local produce" on offer. Three nights spent which we both would have willingly doubled or trebled given the chance, our verdict is a well deserved 10/10.

What a fantastic host!

The B&B was excellent. The host, Tim, was exceptional. He went out of his way to help us ensure we had a great visit . He made reservations for us in local restaurants out of the beaten path, they were all superb. His garden and animals create a peaceful sanctuary. Greatly recommend this place.

Lovely B&B central to many attractions

Posted Oct 2, 2014
Location: Very close to Bath , Stonehenge, Wells Cathedral, Cheddar Gorge, and Wales
We arrived in the afternoon to a smiling Tim, the owner, who greeted us and offered to help us with our baggage. After we were settled he brought us a tray of tea and biscuits which was very appreciated. Our room was light and airy with attention to detail and cleanliness. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and very inviting to relax in. The chickens and Pygmy goats at the back of the property also added to the experience. Breakfast was made from fresh and local ingredients . The English breakfast was delicious . Tim was very friendly and helpedl us with maps, sights to see and best places to have dinner. Our 4 night stay was first rate and we highly recommend it!

Everything outstanding

Posted Sep 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
I enjoyed my stay so much that I returned for another night after travelling in Devon. While the service and attention to detail was outstanding, it was totally unintrusive. Being away from the city in wonderful country surroundings, it was easy to access Bath and other places of interest and the park and ride for city access was great. Host Tim was always on hand to help with directions and suggestions. I would certainly recommend this lovely rural retreat.

Bec in Bath

Posted Jul 18, 2014
We had an absolutely fabulous time in Bath and loved the accommodation. The garden was beautiful and you could visit the pet Pygmy goats and chooks at the end of it. One suggestion for people considering staying here - if you do not have a hire car make sure to sort out some sort of transport as we hadn't organised anything we caught taxis and it was very expensive!
