“A unique B& B”

The owners have spent over 20 years restoring and furnishing what UK visitors would recognise as a high victorian building in the period of end of the 19th Century. Lots of chintz, victorian ornaments etc. However the bathrooms are modern. The breakfasts are superb.

“A very different experience.”

We read the reviews before we booked and then after we stayed here. It seems we were at a different B&B. The rules were very strict - "breakfast at 8 and don't be late" But coffee was not ready til much later. A Keurig pot was made available until 7:40 and then it was closed up. And breakfast coffee was not ready at 8am. ? I don't know why we had to be so prompt. When we go to a restaurant for breakfast the very first question is "would you like coffee?". We have stayed at a lot of B&B's with many different host personalities but these owners were the most different. Not our fav's. It seemed they were trying to be funny like a sitcom, but they weren't. The humor was more offensive.
