“Nice location. Needs some work, though. Maintence was poor.”

The shower knob fell off in my hands, the lid to the air conditioner controls was broken and I couldn't change the temperature.

Stayed there for two days while on business. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable.

“Really nice people”

From the very classy lady on the front desk to the folks serving breakfast to the room cleaners, you couldn't ask to be with nicer people in a nice state. If we visit BTR again, we'll be here.

Area recommendations

Definitely visit the LSU Rural Life Museum.......if you're into such things.

When to go

If you think summer in BTR is "warm" in summer, you ain't never experienced Hot. Fall or early spring is my suggestion.

“Great hotel”

The hotel is great. staff very friendly, excellent service. Good amenities. the location is not ideal (close to the highway), but it's not an issue if you get a room overlooking the courtyard/pool.

“Pleasently surprised”

We had not been to this hotel in a long time. Upon opening the front door, I was pleasantly surprised at the recent remodeling of the lobby area. The desk clerk was very welcoming, and things were off to a better start than expected. The room was very clean and comfortble, and the free WiFi was great. The hotel is very convienent and the stay was the best in years.

“Was kinda hard to find”

Motel was having work done on the foyer but the inconvience was small. Room was very nice and the motel desk clerk was very nice and so helpful. And the motel was close enough to alot of things.

“Standard Courtyard”

This was a perfectly acceptable Courtyard by Marriott with a nice lobby. Marriott should figure out how to light up the outside of their hotels without shining lights into every outside window, though!

“Nice Place”

We stayed here on a trip to LSU baseball game. It was in the middle of everything. Great location and very friendly service. Someone told me that it wasnt very kid friendly however, it was very kid friendly!
