Power Out

Power went out. Hotel staff kept leading us on with the amount of time of when the power would be back on. We finally decide to go out and talk to the electricians working. Their story was totally different than the hotel staff. At midnight, we finally had enough. We were hot and tired (it was June and we had been driving for the past 9 hours). We requested to be moved to one of their sister hotels. They made the call and we left. Just wish we hadn't been lead along for 4 hours on when the power was going to be turned on.

Would stay here again

Location is very convenient to LSU campus. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entrance was a little tricky- So, enter as if you're going to Outback- The hotel is hidden behind it. The only other inconvenience was a miscalculation by the builders- The bathroom door only clears the toilet if the seat is up- Probably built by men. Overall though, good experience. I'd stay here again.

Pros: great bedding
Location: Trader Joe's, Acme Oyster Bar, Mall less than 4 miles away, LSU
Big on southern hospitality. The staff was so warm and welcoming. Thank you Ashley and Stacey, for making me feel so welcome.

Pros: lobby
Cons: breakfast...slow time to get food, food order was incorrect, food was cold...not just for me, but several groups
Location: convenient to the interstate, but noise is present
hotel itself was fine...breakfast was poorly organized

Time for a remodel

older facility starting to show signs of wear. Had to change rooms because the first one had many problems with it. Was not very happy with staff member when I asked him if he had an extra charger that normally most hotels have in a lost and found he refused to even go and look into a Lost and Found to see if one was there. it was as if he couldn't be bothered.

Terrible Beds

The hotel was clean and the staff was awesome but the beds and pillows were AWFUL! There were 4 of us and NO ONE slept well AT ALL! It was a good central location for all we wanted to do, though.
