“Bare Basics”
I should have noticed before I booked it that their slogan is "Always clean and friendly." So it was clean - no bugs, bed or otherwise - and pretty much ok. But I didn't realize there were so many "long term residents" there. Should have paid better attention. It was ok - they lived up to their slogan, anyway.
“Guess thats what you get for the price?”
My family needed a place to go because our plumbing was out. Next time I'll spend the extra $50 per night for a better place.
“Worst hotel in the world!!”
Stayed 3 nights , Never cleaned room, bed bugs , room smells, had to beg for towels, asked them to please clean room they didn't . Worst experience! Never again!
“Ehhhhh kinna iffy!!”
The stay was pretty good. The only problem I had was after a whole day of hot weather, I had been sweating on day and all I wanted to do was take a shower. We get to our room about 1130 at night and noticed our beds arent made nor did we have fresh towels. So we go to the front desk to get more towels, and the lady at the front desk said they had a overflow of people so they didnt have any clean laundry, so we would have to come back in an hour to get clean towels and rags. I didnt wanna have to wait till after midnight to take a shower all I wanted to do was take a bath and go to bed!!
“Good Hotel”
Was only there for one night but was very comfy. Very roomy. Convienent location.
“Average Stay; A Bit Overpriced”
This hotel and my room needed new carpet. They also have no sound insulation, so hope you don't get noisy neighbors because you will hear them easily. Also there was a teenager always sitting by the entrance-not sure what that was about.
“it was ok just ok”
it is fine for the price just not my first choice having inside halls. Not much within walking distance other than a few restaurants but It was not bad. For the right price I would stay there again
“Not the worse.”
Stayed here Dec. 5-6th 2009. I've stayed here before so there was nothing new. It's an okay place to stay if you're not looking for 5 star material. The staff is very helpful and friendly though so that was a good thing. My major complaint would probably be the bed, it's not comfortable at at....didn't really get a full nights sleep. But if you just need a place to lay your head it gets the job done.
“Pay a little more and stay elsewhere”
I had to come to Baton Rouge just for overnight and it was very last minute so I had to pick a hotel that day. I did not need anything fancy but I also did not want to be in a dump. Well the staff was okay until they all went on smoke break at the same time and left the counter unattended. I was waiting to get my room key at the time and other customers were coming up for help. The room was meager at best. It was not warm and inviting and the furniture was dated. The bed was lumpy and horrible so we did not rest well. They ran out of wash clothes. The elevator was not working. My room ran out of toilet paper. The list goes on. The price was good but of course you will suffer. I would rather pay more and be comfortable.
“It is what it is”
I only stayed for one night. it was ok. I like the little kitchen.
