“Not the worse.”

Stayed here Dec. 5-6th 2009. I've stayed here before so there was nothing new. It's an okay place to stay if you're not looking for 5 star material. The staff is very helpful and friendly though so that was a good thing. My major complaint would probably be the bed, it's not comfortable at at....didn't really get a full nights sleep. But if you just need a place to lay your head it gets the job done.

“A good, not great, place to rest your head.”

We really just needed a place to crash after the LSU game and that's about all we got. The room kinda had an odor, but we got used to it. Seems like a nice place to stay though overall.

“Major concern”

The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. However the security doors to the outside, which were suppose to require a room key(card) to enter were non-functioning. No situations or concerns arose as we came in after mid-night and in a thunderstorm. But being an urban area, security is one of my main concerns. Area is a decent area with no signs of vandalism noted.

“Get what you pay for”

This hotel was good enough for what I needed which was a place to stay for one night. I wasn't going to spend a lot of time in the hotel so the amenities didn't really matter to me. No bugs or leaky faucets so I got lucky. This made it one step above Motel 6. It met my expectations of having a bed and TV. I knew for what I was paying on a weekend that LSU was playing Auburn, this was not going to be the nicest hotel. If you are only expecting the bare minimum and don't want to spend a lot of money, then this will work for you.

“just ok”

So So place. was convienent for my business but nothing special. If you don't have a need to be in that part of Baton Rouge, better to stay downtown or close to LSU

“um ok”

I guess since i have to use this box, the outside was nice, but the inside look like a cheap apartment complex in the Bronx.

“Nice place to stay”

The hotel seemed to be an older hotel, but it was decent to stay in. The only complaint we would have is it took a very long time to check in due to the fact there was only one person working the desk.

“Not bad. Would stay there in the future”

Hotel is fairly clean. Was expecting continental breakfast --per thier ad. That was a bit disappointed.

“Bare Basics”

I should have noticed before I booked it that their slogan is "Always clean and friendly." So it was clean - no bugs, bed or otherwise - and pretty much ok. But I didn't realize there were so many "long term residents" there. Should have paid better attention. It was ok - they lived up to their slogan, anyway.
