Clean and well kept upPosted Jan 5, 2015
Cons: Room service food options
Location: It was near intersection with plenty of restaurant options, but not walking distance.
Everything was great, the staff was welcoming and room was inviting. Room service options could have been a bit better, particularly during the day but overall it was a great stay !

Spacious is an understatement! Very nice room!Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: The layout of the room was excellent. The common areas are just beautiful and inviting.
Cons: Free BREAKFAST not just coffee with the room rate over $100.00
Location: There is a Walmart less then a mile away and lots of local restaurants.
When I walked in I expected the typical hotel room layout. However, when I opened the room door I knew that this was going to be an excellent trip! The room was huge! It had a lounge area with a mounted TV on the wall. The bedroom had a beautiful King Size bed, TV with enough storage for me and my guest. The best part about the room was the microwave, coffee maker and bathroom that was also huge and with updated features. I will definitely stay at the DoubleTree again when I'm in Baton Rouge. This Hotel was clearly new or recently renovated for comfort and luxury. Don't think twice about booking it is definitely worth it!

Pros: The gym was clean with great equipment. Room was just perfect for our needs and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The only criticism I can make is the shower. It took a very long time to heat up and the water pressure was terrrible.
Perfect room for our needs. Was in town visiting LSU and it was perfectly located with plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. I would recommend passing on the buffet breakfast. Everything was cold.

In town for LSU game. Hotel conveniently located to LSU and surrounding restaurants. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Free wifi. Breakfast buffet was a bit pricey for what was offered but that's my only negative.
