“nice place to have fun”
Good location for convient shopping, Hotel staff was nice and room was clean. I had no problems during my stay.
“comfortable but nothing fancy”
Everything was great except people definitely smoked on non-smoking floors and the hallway reeked of smoke and would sometimes seep into my room. But it was worth it for me because I have dietary restrictions and having the kitchen (with utensils and a few pots/pans provided) was the most important aspect for me. The internet was not free, you had to pay 4.99 for your entire stay and it was very slow.
“Great location; conveniently located to restaurants, movie theater, stores etc. Safe atmosphere.”
Staff was friendly and helpful. Only disappointment was having to ask for shampoo, conditioner and dish soap but they were willing to help. I had my dog traveling with me so I really appreciated the well light areas to walk her. The walking bridge to stores, restaurants, offices, movie theater etc was well lit and monitored and there were lots of walkways so did not have to worry about traffic. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with a pet or someone wanting things to do without having to drive.
“...”
good for the price. had some complications with getting a smoking room when non-smoking was requested, but received free internet connect for the inconvenience.
“Nice motel to stay”
Motel needs to have their people sweep the rooms better than what they're doing.
“Comfortable stay”
We had a nice stay at the Extended Stay even though we only needed the room for one night. Our room was clean and quiet. The location of the hotel is Central Baton Rouge...Close to the Interstate and Government St.
“New hotel, nice also”
Quite a nice place. New building it seems. Had a lot of fun around the area where its located as well. The beds were cozy and took our abuse well.
“Great deal, but not many extras”
I was quite satisfied with this hotel. Most of the problems that I ran into were my own fault for assuming they would have amenities like continental breakfast, shampoo & conditioner, and a hairdryer. I now realize that none of those things are listed on the website, and that this is probably how they keep relatively low rates at an all-suite hotel in a good area. My major complaint: while my room was non-smoking, I could smell cigarette smoke coming through the ventilation from somewhere nearby. In the morning after I'd forbore it all night, I realized that it was strongest through the bathroom vent and that I probably could have virtually eliminated the smell by keeping the bathroom door closed. The bed was also a bit hard for me, but I'm very sensitive to that and it probably wouldn't bother most people.
“We stay here often”
Neighborhood is fine, it's just awkward to sometimes have to make a U-turn to reach hotel when coming from one direction. Several restaurants nearby. Cleanliness is good but housekeeping is iffy: sometimes there are towels, sometimes not. But the clerk at the front desk in the morning is always friendly and accommodating (I need to remember her name!) We are there only to sleep so we don't see any staff other than front desk, MOST of them are great! There are long term guests here so there are sometimes cooking smells, doesn't bother us a bit.
“Nice, but lacking...”
Love the area of the hotel, very nice surroundings. Easy access to downtown area. Nice hotel for the price, lacking in the housekeeping department. Floors in bathroom needed a better sweeping and moping. Carpet could use a cleaning. could also use some sort of air freshner, a little stale.
