“Great service”
Our room was comfortable and clean. We had a special request regarding parking a trailer we were pulling and they were very accomidating!
“not impressed”
Not impressed at all. The staff kicked us out of our room over a mistake they made. Very embarrassing with no apology offered for the inconvenience. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
“This hotel is going to my hotel from now on.”
we injoyed the stay at the hotel. It is clean and guest friendly. We had a good and quite room.
“Nice hotel, a lot of construction, and definately not sound proofed”
The hotel would normally be easy to get to but right now there is a lot of construction which makes it a lot more challenging. It was nice, clean, and comfortable. However, I almost called the front desk because the neighbors were so loud and I was afraid they were fighting, but they were actually talking normal. So, we kept the TV up load to drown everyone else out. Once they went to sleep things were fine.
“fai field inn”
Not a bad Hotel. I got a room at first floor which was the only one available despite a request before. VERY NOISY. Would suggest get a room besides first floor
“Might go back”
Went to Baton Rouge for the day. On arrival to the hotel we saw there was a lot of kids in the pool. So we checked in and went to the room. Than we went to get some dinner. When we arrived back to the hotel there were more kids in the pool. There must have been 30 people in the pool area. I don't think they were all staying at the hotel. I overheard one of them saying they were gonna call there friend and tell them to bring their friends kids to come swim too. Later on in the afternoon we came down to the fitness center to workout and there was kids in there playing on the equipment. I was rather aggravated that here I was a paying guest and I wasn't able to use the pool or fitness center. Other than that the hotel was nice
“"So thankful I found such a great place, safe, quiet and great staff and location!!!"”
I have been staying in the Baton Rouge Area quite frequently the last few months and have just recently stayed at the Fairfield Baton Rouge South. I highly recommend this hotel and it will always be my first choice when in the Red Stick area. The hotel is in a very convenient location to get to the Interstate and other major roads, restaurants and shopping but is actually on a quiet street with green spaces and sidewalks to walk. The entire staff is excellent from Reception to Maintenance and the facility is clean and well designed with alot of natural light. The hotel guests are family oriented on some days and business travel on others, but always appeared quiet and well taken care of. There is a gracious morning host that sets out quite a wide variety of healthy breakfast foods and makes sure that you have everything that you need!
“Small but otherwise okay”
My wife and I booked this hotel for a long weekend away from home. The price was decent with a discount. Overall everything was "okay." The one elevator was a little small, and the service was impersonal. While there weren't any cleanliness issue, there was a slightly unpleasant smell. It did however have a pool and an exercise room which we didn't expect. Overall we might stay there again if we get a good deal on it.
“Had a great time!”
We came in for a LSU game and found it very easy to find the hotel and the staff was very helpful. They even had a map already printed with directions to LSU Stadium.
“Enjoyable stay”
Very good staff - helpful
