We had a wonderful stay. Everyone we came in contact with at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. We were greeted each time we came and went. The location is perfect for downtown events. We were attending the Artmelt preview party at The Shaw Center. It was a short walk from the hotel.

The hotel staff excelled in making my stay enjoyable. Always ready with a smile and encouraging word, they helped me find my way around the downtown area, suggested music night spots, local sights. The room was somewhat tight with two double beds, a desk and dresser, but was very clean, nicely appointed, and comfortable. Great place to stay for business or pleasure.

I love being downtown on the waterfront in a small hotel rather than the Hyett which recently opened across the street- It is close to government offices - I can walk to work - the Hotel staff were friendly- made me feel welcome - my conversation with the bar tender who had just arrived in Baton Rouge from Seattle made me feel at home - my was beautifully appointed -w-fi worked with out a hitch- the bed was the best - I found two really great resturants near by. I will stay at the Indigo Downtown next time I am in Baton Rouge.
