Nice but pricey

Food items are overpriced too much al acart No microwave in the guest rooms. You have to downstairs. I paid $14.00 for a lunch meat wrap. The room was very nice and spacious.

My brother, his family, and I have stayed at this hotel before. In the past, it was great. Not anymore. None of us will stay here again. After a tiring day, we all check in to our different rooms... I had a bottle of wine and just needed an opener, so I go to the bar in the hotel: I asked to borrow their wine bottle opener..I was warned that they could not use the one they have, that almost all of their wine bottles had corks stuck in them due to the opener, and that I should find a big guy to help me with the one they gave me since I was frail. Well, as they did not offer to help me and I did not go search out some stranger to help me, I tried to uncork the wine in my room...wine spewed out from the bottle like a red fountain, reaching the tops of two walls and the cork fell in the bottle....so instead of relaxing after a very long day, I found myself taking my sandals off to stand on a table to clean the walls. This is when I discovered that the floor was soaking wet... I was tired and decided to go to bed. This is when I discovered the dirty red cough syrup cup...or Jell-O shot...on the floor directly underneath my pillows. Lovely. I went to sleep and woke up excited about the usually good breakfast. It was not good. It was gross. The fruit salad was old, the eggs had the consistency of styrofoam and rubber, and the waffles were cold. Meanwhile my brother, his wife, and four children are having an equally unpleasant adventure of their own. Terrible management.

Only thing that was not liked was we left the room at 930 am and returned at 2 pm to a Uncleaned room needing to take a nap before we left for the evening we put the do not disturb sign on the door so our room was not cleaned for our 2 night stay had to go get more soap and shampoo from the front desk because ours were 1/4 full upon arrival. The room had a stale smell to it as well.

Cable kept loosing signal. The bar was in lobby and beer was hot. Just all around not a good experience will not go back or recommend.

Dark rooms but close to mall and entertainment

Hotel staff was very friendly! The entrance was warm, bright and welcoming but the halls and hotel room seemed so dark. Maybe it was the dark brown carpet? Not sure. Also, there was an odor in the hall and room like it was damp and needed to be aired out.

Breakfast and the service was great . Only bad thing about the room is, if you are traveling with a large suitcase the closet is very small.

Smooth, easy, helpful check-in. Great room. Love the set-up of the newly renovated Hyatt Placw. Will continue to stay in their hotels. Good location. Restaurants and shopping next door.

Pros: Nice people and a very good breakfast.
Cons: The pillows. Feather pillows have no support, and tucking them into pillow nuggets doesn't help. Please consider a pillow upgrade of some type.
Location: Across from the Mall of LA.
We had good parking, and a very nice spacious room. Really liked the breakfast.
