Clean and comfortable

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Besides the above, there were restuarants, a movie theater and a hospital within walking distance.
Cons: A lot more landscaping.
Location: Location is easy to get to (just off the interstate) and as mentioned above, there is a lot to do close by.
I found the hotel to be clean and quiet. The staff was attentive and helpful. There are many businesses in the area so shopping was easy.

Convenient and very reasonably priced

We spent 7 nights at the Quality Suites on O'Neal while we were in Baton Rouge buying a home. The hotel is located just off I-12 across from a Hobby Lobby. We found the staff to be both friendly and polite. We were particularly impressed with the gentleman that was in charge of the breakfast buffet. He worked quietly and efficiently to keep the breakfast area clean and well-stocked. The only negative thing we can report is that our room which faced O'Neal was subject to traffic noise during the morning and evening rush hours. The noise was noticeable in the room but not to the point of being disruptive. All in all, this hotel is a very good value for your dollar, and I plan to stay there again when we move to Baton Rouge in May.

Accommadating staff, and clean rooms. Cigarette burn on tub floor and toilet seat in room 205. Breakfast less than adequate compared to comparable priced hotels.

Not Too Shabby

Pros: Price
Cons: The beds.
This hotel was worth the price considering everrything in New Orleans where we had our business meeting, was above $200. It is clean and the included breakfast is OK. The staff that we dealt with was excellent. The young lady at the desk was very sweet and polite. That unfortunately is a rarity anymore.

great hotel for the price

Pros: The king sized bed was very comfortable. Also, that the room had a fridge and microwave.
The hotel room was comfortable and well appointed. We had a king size bed and it was very comfortable - I don't usually sleep well in hotels, but I did at this one. The breakfast was very adequate and well tended to by the staff. The only negative that I saw was that the only pool was outdoors and it was very small - a consideration if you're travelling with children. Location was close to interstate so easy access to dining. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel & staff!!

Pros: Staff, cleanliness, location
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Several places to dine nearby.
The staff was absolutely magnificent; from the manager down! Hotel was very well maintained; we even suggested it was new. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast bar had quite a variety for all ages and kept well stocked, by the manager himself. We were visiting family for the holidays and will definitely stay here on future visits.

Great hotel, close to Baton Rouge shopping

Posted Dec 31, 2013
Pros: Close to relatives Listed on Expedia
Cons: Regular sized pillows
Location: Close to the interstate. Not far from Baton Rouge shopping. Also Bass Pro Shop is only minutes away. The Tanger Mall Outlets in Gonzales is close.
Really enjoyed our stay at Quality Suites. At first, I was a little unsure due to the close proximity to the interstate. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I never heard any traffic on the interstate - no cars or 18 wheelers. They had a fabulous breakfast with my favorite - waffles. Only suggestion - take your own pillow. the pillows were small but comfortable.
