Okay hotel with great location
Okay hotel with great location - stayed for two nights. The staff does not speak English, but they do their best. Hotel is near several great places to eat. We did not have breakfast there - we went to Cafe HOC, $3 excellent buffet, just around the corner from the hotel.

Friendly and English speaking . Good hotel and two minutes walk from were the mini bus dropped me off from seam reap the hotel has sister hotel up the road use of swimming pool and also you have your breakfast there .good

Highly recommended
Lux Guesthouse deserves praise for the presentation, and running, of the operation. My niggly complaint is just a tad far from city centre, if walking. Tuk tuk cheap.

Would definitely recommend.
Nice hotel, good sized room. Room cleaned every day. Nice to be able to use the swimming pool at sister hotel.

Excellent budget option
Very good budget hotel in the centre of Battambang, a few minutes walk from the market and restaurants. Warm and welcoming room, comfy bed and no problems whatsoever. Both room and bed are very big.

The room and the staff was mostly good. On the second night I came back to my room without power. He kindly gestured me it's ok and I should go back up to my room. I just stood there. After an awkward 30 seconds he flipped the breaker behind him. Came back to the room and the power was magically on.

Good room, large, good service overall. Room was on the fourth floor with no elevator, which made coming and going a chore.

Nice hotel
A nice hotel with really nice and friendly staff! Particularly Sal our tuk tuk driver. Unfortunately the bed was rock solid and there was no air con just a small fan making it extremely hot. It was cheap so we couldn't complain to much but it meant two uncomfortable nights sleep. Location was perfect and the pool was lovely.

I wouldn't bother
Pros - good location and nothing was stolen from my room Cons - so many to mention ! I thought it was very dirty , AC leaked water in two different rooms , two TVs in a room : both of which didn't work - dirty , disorganised and pricey for what you get

Basic but nice.
Lux Guesthouse very basic but close enough to everything. The hotel didn't have a restaurant or pool but the sister hotel about 300m walk down the road served us breakfast and had a lovely pool for use at any time. We visited the temple on the mountain and saw the bats fly out at sunset which was great. Bamboo train a crazy but fun experience. There are plenty of tours around the area. Hotel room clean but bathroom a strange design where everything is always wet as shower is in a bad position. Markets only have food on offer, no souvenirs to buy.

We booked two beds, but giving a room with one. Asked for two bed room and when we walked in the room, the room was not cleaned. Tried the third bedroom and kept that one. Hot water was good, beds OK. Traveled in Cambodia for a month and every place had electric pot for hot water to make coffee or tea, this place didn't. Also the website said it has a pool. One have to walk to a different hotel to use the pool, ask for a pool ticket at the reception. Short walk, the pool was nice. You get what you paid.

Solid budget option, good staff, ok for a few days
Decent location and price. Helpful staff, moved us to lower floor on request on day 2. Beds comfy but first had a spring sticking out and TV in first room was fuzzy. Fan in room 2 was broken in the on position. Overall a good budget option.

Very basic room but was the A/C was good. Other than that very very basic. Breakfast was good but was in a different hotel so to was the pool. Free pick up from the bus station without us booking ahead. The tuk tuk driver was also very good and we used him for two other trips where he was knowledgable and fairly priced with no haggling. We also had to use our own adapter to plug in the fridge. So nothing special at all.

We didn't really stay there...
We booked in the morning and arrived in the afternoon to find that our room had been double booked and there were no more rooms available. We were taken to their partner hotel, Deluxe Villa, which was lovely. The company seems good and handled the situation well, so that's a plus point, but I didn't even get to see the inside of a room, so I can't comment on the hotel itself!

Hotel was clean and tidy as was the room, the staff are friendly and you could buy water/beer from a fridge in the lobby you could also book trips tours from the hotel we actually booked a bus to siem reap from here and it was the same price as from any of the in town tour operators, the breakfast was good but you have to walk to there other hotel to get it you can also use there pool if you pay $3, only problem was that it was really hot when we went and the air con seemed to be set not cool enough plus on a timer which you couldn't change so went off after an hour and a half!

Great budget option
Good value guesthouse. Nothing fancy, but you get what you pay for. Absolutely loved Battambang, couldn't recommend it strongly enough. Only problem with hotel was that we booked for the pool, which is actually at their sister hotel & they charge extra for use, so we didn't end up using it...

A Good Place to Stay in Battambang
This hotel is well located in Battambang, with friendly, helpful staff, good, clean rooms and a nice swimming pool too.

Not very clean, not very clear ! The receptionist said that we paid for fan only... so we had to paid 5$ / day to have the air conditioner... The room was not cleaned all days and there is no elevator in this hotel (and nobody take us our baggages). For sleeping everything is ok. You can access to the deluxe villa swimming pool : so this is a good point.

Lux hotel guesthouse est tres bien situé et c'est un hotel tres propre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et tres boen equipees.c'est un hotel qie ke recommande vraiment. Le plus la piscine de Lux villa dont on peut profiter gratuitement.

Værelserne var ikke specielt pæne, eller rene. Området var super hyggeligt og hotellet reklamere med egen pool, hvilket de også indikere på deres billeder. Dette har de ikke, men man kan frit låne søsterhotellets pool, som ligger 50-100 meter derfra, og den er rigtig fin

Die Zimmer sind dem alter entsprechend in Ordnung und sauber. Beim Bad tropfte es von der Decke, sonst ok. In allen Zimmern sehr guter WiFi empfang. Das Personal dürfte etwas herzlicher sein. Ruhige zentrale Lage. Wenn man ohne Frühstück gebucht hat, kann man in dem 2 min. entfernten Partnerhotel für 4$ das gute Frühstück haben.

Das Zimmer war ok, Bett war bequem und sauber. Das Badezimmer war etwas vergammelt, zudem tropfte es kontinuierlich von der Decke, sodass man stets nassgetropft wurde wenn man auf der Toilette saß. Abends war es laut wegen der Bar ggü. - nachts ging es dann.
