Treetops at Abri in PaihiaPosted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Privacy, location, comfort and kitchen facilities.
Cons: Hmm cant think of anything.
Location: Abri Apartments very close to main shops, cafes and boats for daytrips. Leave the car at home and walk. Recommend parasailing. Beautiful experience.
Wonderful. Everything at Abri was comfortable and lovely. Surroundings peaceful despite being right in town which was very handy. Couldn't have been better.

Home away from home in lovely PaihiaPosted Sep 7, 2013
Pros: Attractive, comfortable, and I especially liked the spa bath!
Location: We explored historic Anglican sites (the Williams House, the church, the archeological site), and also used Abri as our base for visiting the area.
We were warmly welcomed by our host to a lovely chalet-type place with view of the sea and every comfort we could want.

Great apartment for view, sun and facilitiesPosted Mar 30, 2013
We stayed in treetops and the view was amazing. 100m walk to beach, 2 min walk to town. If treetops is available i would recommend spending that little more, just for the view, plus the balcony gets the sun all day.

Good have been so much better.Posted Mar 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Place is perfectly located. Really nice bed, bath, and a fantastic view. The only problem, and Im a little tired of this, was the "free wifi." Upon arrival, I was given 200MB to use. After I expressed disappointment with that, he (reluctantly) gave me another 500MB. For $200+ a night, you should get "free wifi" as advertised. Even then backpacker hotel in KeriKeri gives you unlimited wifi for $5. Additionally, I arrived at 11AM at the lodge, and no one was home. I waited for a couple of hours, and then I had to buy some internet from a internet spot in town in order to call them. At that point, he said there was a key in a lock box at the location. Why not send me an email the night before with that information? Basically, hours wasted when it could have been handled a much easier way. Just not a smooth stay at all. Management seemed a little put off, to be honest.

A Pure Slice of HeavenPosted Aug 10, 2012
Pros: Quality of Fixtures and Furnishings The View The Cleanliness
Cons: Had to ring the owner to find out how to get into the apartment as they were not there on arrival. Inconvenient if you don't have a NZ mobile with you
The most stunning outlook up amongst the trees, such peace and tranquility. Not suitable for those unable to climb stairs in the 'Treetops' apartment as there are approximately 30 of them! Would most definitely stay there again.
