“Relaxed, well appointed units in a good location.”

Sea Spray is a well appointed, very modern complex well located on the beach in Pahia and within a leisurely stroll from the main restaurants, ferry, tour boats, etc. We had a main floor unit with a lovely private patio in the shade were we ate breakfast and dinners when we didn't eat out. The kitchen was well set up and the furnishings were comfortable and very up-to-date. Very close to excellent golf at Wiatangi and lovely parks and walks on the Wiatangi grounds.

“Home away from home.”

This hotel is more like a mini personal apartment. You have a small kitchenette, separate bedroom, living room and washroom. It was comfortable and nice to have the extra space. Terraces appear to either face the bay, or the motel on one side, and car repair shop on the other. The terraces are large with table to dine. Keep in mind to select the bay view if this is your preference. The wharf and supermarket are each five minute walk away. As for staff rating, there isn't staff to interact with given the set up, as many of these inns in NZ only have reception between 8 AM and 7 PM, hence i give a 3 to make it average, however this does not detract from the stay. There are laundry facilities available for three dollars a wash. I would recommend staying here. It was roomy and comfortable in the quieter side of Paihia.

Hotel room was.fine.clean but the tv is small.for the room and the bed is quite small for being queen size.the aircon is only in the living room.the parking is shocking and very very thin spaces.

“Fantastic Position”

Fantastic Position, but suggest paying the extra for the ocean front units or you will be looking at a petrol station and workshop. Only downfall -no table and chairs inside the 1 bedroom unit we had, great one on the balcony but not so good in the rain as it is not covered. Great holiday position and units for a summer holiday.

“Disappointing”

We asked and Paid for a Premium 2 Bedroom apartment with oceanviews. We got the ground floor unit looking towards the beach which was dark the view was to the cars as there all the cars parked in front so you could not see the water. Very disappointing.
