Fix a/cPosted Jan 28, 2015
Could not cool room. Outside temp was high 50's but room was above 70 and we set temp as low as it would go. At bedtime temp still above. 70. Room very nice otherwise. In lobby and hallways the smell of tobacco very strong but in room no such odor.

Nice hotel on its own resortPosted Jan 10, 2015
I was pleasantly pleased with my first stay at the Hollywood Casino. Instead of the usual casino on or near the beach, the Hollywood is tucked into it's own resort on a bay. The only downside is that you are in some ways held captive as everything is a mile or two away outside the resort.

Very nice view from our roomPosted Dec 28, 2014
Pros: Almost everything.
Cons: Figuring out some way to keep the smoking areas more separate from the non-smokers. Maybe two entrances?
Location: The beach. Great restaurant - The Sycamore House - in downtown Bay St. Louis.
We liked the hotel, the staff, and the location. The staff was very helpful - they corrected small oversights (no decaff coffee or conditioner) promptly. The one 'turn-off' about the place was the smoking! We're not used to public places where people can smoke and it was the one thing we didn't like about The Hollywood!

Pros: The general layout is good.
Cons: The beds were very uncomfortable.
Location: I have family in Kiln so the location was good.
Beds were uncomfortable. Good hotel compared to others in Bay St. Louis but not as nice as the casino hotels in Biloxi.

Looks great on the outside and has decent DecorPosted Dec 23, 2014
Pros: The beds though; were quite cozy :) I loved the pictures on the walls; they were pretty awesome.
Cons: Get the smoke out!!
Looks great on the outside and has decent Decor but if you're looking for a good casino; hit up the silver slipper. If you're a non-smoker; even if you get a non-smoking room, the smell still lingers in the carpets and air of this close to beautiful building. I would definitely look at the bed and breakfast's more and just finish the casino's. The beds though; were quite cozy :) One thing I did like.

Nice hotel and convenient to the Casino!Posted Dec 19, 2014
Pros: Convenience and very clean!
Cons: Only the way to win at the Casino.
Location: The bars and restaurants along the waterfront are fantastic with great southern food and excellent seafood. Beautiful harbor too.
I lost but had such a good time doing it, drank free during the evening and when tired went upstairs and crashed.
