Staff was very helpful trying to accommodate us. Hotel has bus stops right outside that take you straight to subway into NYC.

Dingy. Cold, and was told they had turned the heat off because it was summer. Needs a serious update. Dark. Shabby.

The staff at this hotel were very unfriendly and had the appearance of being lazy. I say this because when I checked in the clerk was sitting at his counter talking to someone who appeared either to be on duty or off duty. This seemed to go on continuously through out my stay. I do think that the high counter is very unappealing. Even when I stepped up, I couldn't see the person working at the counter who remained seated. No one (except the cleaning staff) ever said hello or asked if they could assist me. One evening I wanted to take the stairway and was directed right through the middle of a party. I was really embarrassed. The elevator was very s-l-o-w moving and often seemed to pass the floor. The breakfast was not particularly appealing although the eggs were well cooked. Waffles in cellophane? Boxed pancakes? I will say the room was immaculate and well maintained. The housekeeping staff was friendly and appeared hard working.

Even though is not a luxury hotel the cleanliness and courteous staff makes all the difference. The breakfast in the morning has a very good assortment. The room was always kept clean and the front desk staff is superb. I would stay here again.

Hotel was convenient & comfortable. A bit noisy & had trouble parking one night (out of 2 I stayed). Parking lot was convenient but tight for parking. Breakfast was fresh & OK.

The hotel wasn't what i expected when reading the reviews. It is very presentable with friendly staff. My actual disappointment was the room. I stayed for three nights and was disappointed that within the time I stayed housekeeping did a not really clean my room. They did my bed, empty the garbage a gave new toiletries and that was it. They didn't vacuum, mop bathrm. floor, wash tub, clean sink, etc. I notice the first day i checked into my room that the bathroom floor was stained and clothes rack had alot of hair on carpet. So i wrote a note along with leaving a small monetary tip letting housekeeping know to clean it and nothing was done but the tip was taken. The next day when showering I notice the drain was not draining well and again left note with tip and nothing done but tip taken. (tub wasn't clean because I saw the ring stain on the tub from last shower )

Good clean hotel with comfortable bed in pleasant Bayside location.

Great hotel, breakfast great, staff even greater from the front desk to the room cleaning staff. Only issue is this, the travel into the city. Is not difficult at all but kind of far away takes about a hour to get to Times Square. Overall was nice place to stay.

The hallway of the hotel smells like cigarets, but the room was clean. The carpet needs a deep cleaning, it smells like cigarets. The hotel elevator door button is broken and needs to be fixed. Other than that It was a nice stay. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Free continental breakfast, which was a plus.
