“Okay for Emergency Stay”
The hotel is locally owned and operated (an independent), which was nice for a change. It was definitely a bare-bones room, though. There were 2 beds, a shower, and a kitchenette (no dishes, just empty shelves), but only a small fridge and microwave. There wasn't even a coffee pot! Overall, it was clean enough for an emergency stay, which mine was, but the carpets were in desperate need of replacement, the furniture and bedding were very old, and the room itself needed some improvements (peeling plaster on walls, etc.). The staff, however, was very nice and accomodating, even at 2am when I arrived. They even let me borrow the pillows for a night when I needed to stay at the hospital with a family member (which was my reason for the stay). Overall, it was okay for a last minute reservation when all I needed was a bed and a shower. If you're planning on staying longer than a night or two, I'd recommend finding something that is more comfortable, even if it costs more.
