Room cleanliness went so slow. We checked in on 3:30 but they upgrade us to a 2 bedroom suites which was great. In the middle of a long journey laundry facilities helped us to have enough clean stuff.

"Great hotel"
Check in was easy. Room was clean and the view was nice. My kids and I enjoyed the pool as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be near San Diego attractions.

"Excellent surrounding"
No elevators so pack light. Cool coi pond w/turtles & parrots. Salt water pool, hot tub, putting green. On the waterfront and marina! Kind of a small room but still worth it

"Family Get Away"
We meet in SD each year to celebrate our family. We pick a new hotel each year near or on the beach and celebrate grandchildren and each other. We are loving this tradition and this year we picked the Catamaran. We all had a great time and your food was delish by the pool. So great to go and swim and eat and talk and have a great variety of food for all. Pricing was very reasonable and it saved going out or picnicking.

"Nice hotel, terribly expensive parking "
Good location, water taxi to sea world is $20 p.p. Takes 15 minutes. Great pool with amazing slides, if traveling with kids you might end up spending some time there by the pool and skip some attractions. Food was ok, breakfast was $24, kids pay their age. Stay at the tower, it has decent rooms and amazing view. Two story low rise has old rooms, I'd pay at most half the price for those. There is an additional $22 per day resort fee. Now, parking is NOT $10 as it says online, that's the price of the 'day parking', which is a scam because street parking is plentiful, free and right in front of the hotel, I don't know who would pay that. There is no overnight free parking anywhere near and overnight self OR valet parking is $35 per day, which is more than I paid for my rental car. The price is not justified since there is a tone of space everywhere. In short, nice hotel but add $57 of small print fees to the daily rate, and Hyatt, stop behaving like a cable company.

"Excellent!"
Staff at this Hilton made our experience wonderful! They went out of their way to provide above part service and accommodations. The ladies working with Kids Club remembered names of my kids and greeted them every time they saw each other.

Pocket Guide: Beach Cities, San Diego Business Hotels

During warm weather, crowds pack the waters off Mission Beach and Pacific Beach, two of the most popular stretches of San Diego sand. These laidback locales are known to host the occasional farmer’s market or arts festival. Mission Boulevard connects both beaches and leads north to La Jolla.
