"Great location -boutique style hotel"
Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, stunning views if pay for beach facing rooms. Food of very high standard, although expensive. Bar has a buzz with a good atmosphere. Easy drive to attractions.

"Loved this Hotel"
I loved the hotel location, it's located on a little island called Shelter Island in San Diego. I loved the hotel ground, the pool, and the small sandy beach and the view of the marina area. Although the front of the parking lot is under construction right now, the rest of the hotel is beautiful. The breakfast is good and has a beautiful view of the marina. The beds and the pillows are soft and comfortable and the room is super clean. To drive to all the main San Diego attractions is not far at all from the hotel. The only thing I regret is that I only stayed one night. I definitely will stay at this hotel again.

Pocket Guide: Beach Cities, San Diego Romantic Hotels

During warm weather, crowds pack the waters off Mission Beach and Pacific Beach, two of the most popular stretches of San Diego sand. These laidback locales are known to host the occasional farmer’s market or arts festival. Mission Boulevard connects both beaches and leads north to La Jolla.
