“Great for the price”
Very comfortable, quiet, clean with good breakfast and manager reception.
“Third time to stay there within1 year!”
My children and I really like this hotel. The building has waterfalls and small bridges through-out the bottom floor. Free morning breakfast and afternoon free happy hour are wonderful. Nice indoor pool and arcade are great for children. Hotel staff are very helpful:you almost don't want to leave! * CJ's Cafe has outstanding food too
“good sleeping and good food”
Room extremely comfortable. Breakfast included and great. happy hour included top shelf and hot items.Only complaint was that hot tub chemicals not in balance and ruined swimsuites by discoloring them.
“a bit pricey”
It was a bit pricey with all the taxes, but they provided a really complete breakfast and a really nice managers special cocktails and snacks spread...all the employees we connected with were friendly and helpful....I did think the king bed room would have complete kitchen and utensils when it had only a small fridge and microwave and bar sink...it worked out for us, but I was expecting more in the kitchen...close to good shopping and eating....
“Good.... as advertised...”
the rooms were spacious for the price we paid, comfortable and well appointed...the electronic check in issued us a ground floor room, but the counter staff instantly agreed to give us another room on request...only problem was that there was a lingering smell of smoke, even though we asked for a non-smoking room....
“Nothing special but still OK.”
Was there for a weekend. Place was a bit frayed around the edges. A little extra maintenance wouldn't hurt (i.e. some mildew in the grout of the shower). Plus, one night, after the room was made up, there weren't enough towels. But after a phone call, a minute or two later, the replacements arrived. Employees we ran into were quite courteous, especially the bartender at the manager's cocktail hour and the staff preparing breakfast. Good location and there was certainly lots going on the weekend we stayed there. For the price, you could do a lot worse.
“Good weekend at the Embassy Suites Beachwood.”
First the items that were not pleasing: The key cards never seemed to work on the first or second try. It would eventually open the door between the third and eighth try. The bed was a little soft. Would have preferred a firmer mattress. We thought the exercise room had good machines and the room was kept well especially for a public space. Breakfasts were good with an excellent variety of food both hot and cold. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
“Dirty hotels, no character, too bland, overpriced.”
No life, nothing going on here--even for the Cleveland suburbs. Everything closed down at 8 or 9. Looked empty. Too expensive for the area. Better hotels in atmosphere even downtown. Didn't get the hotel at all. Dirty food trays in hallways at 7pm--everywhere. Repeated calls to clean up did nothing. Just a very boring lifeless, not very clean hotel. Decor is 80's moderne--never refreshed. Overpriced, sad hotel.
“How I spent my weekend at the Embassy Suites in Beechwood, Cleveland”
Housekeeping does not consistently tidy room around same time each day. We arrived back at different time to find an unmade room & once no bathmat, after all towels were brought to our room.
