Not too bad

For my first time ever going here, I can say I was kind of impressed. That hotel was nice and quiet. The location was perfect. The only issue I had was the breakfast ” buffet” which honestly wasn't a buffet and the people at the front desk seemed like they were rushing for no reason. But besides that, everything was fine.

Lots of room, not a ton of charm
Posted Jan 15, 2012
I thought this place just fine, although it could use a little charm. When you enter, there is this depressing little selection of mass-produced food that you can take and microwave or maybe cook in your room. Maybe most people are okay eating this stuff, but I think that it would be much improved if they just added a couple locally-produced foods (like jams from Ohio farmers) or organic items. Just something to send the message that you're not staying in a convenience store. The room was fine -- not exactly charming, but plenty of space and everything clean -- and the people at the front desk were mostly helpful. The breakfast also looked good with eggs, sausage, make-your-own waffles, fresh fruit, and so on. Definitely a plus if you are bringing kids. Also: It's not necessary to have the hotel call you a taxi from the airport (the taxi service at the airport is fool-proof) and the taxi driver they did call for me when I left was pretty atrocious. So just don't expect a high level of service/information when it comes to this stuff.

Good place to stay in Cleveland
Posted Jan 6, 2012
Pros: Big, clean, multi-machined laundry room
Cons: The full size fridge in our Studio that made a lot of noise when it "kicked over." (However, the hotel cannot be held accountable for this.)
Location: It was perfect for us ... 1/2 mile down the road from my sister's nursing home/rehab
It was very comfortable and clean ... with welcome extras, like the laundry room, 3-terminal computer room and the comfortable fireplace lounge just off the breakfast room. The Expedia deal gave us a Studio ... with a kitchen, dishwasher and everything, which was convenient, too. And it was great that breakfast was provided ... saved scrounging around outside the hotel in the morning. We were in Cleveland to visit/help a sick family member in a horrible nursing home down the road. Coming back to the comfort, quiet and order of the Residence Inn was very welcome indeed.
