“Superb vista”

A modern hotel that is perched 1800 feet above Lake Thun with the most amazing views of the Bernese Oberland's famous peaks. (Jungfrau, Eiger, Monch etc) I have stayed at this hotel many times and keep going back again and again. It has an excellent indoor pool. Breakfast is good. Most rooms are on two levels and linked by a spiral staircase.

“Perfect”

The hotel itself was pefect. Buffett breaky with huge variety of food to get fat on every morning while you looked out over the lake and mountains beyond. It seemed that all of the hotel rooms where also facing the mountains so you got to wake up to the most amazing view. Hotel staff where all friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located about a 30 min drive up from interlaken. From interlaken depending on which mountains you want to go up can take anywhere from 30 mins by train up to 2.30 hrs one way. The hotel is situated just below a family type ski run, sledging area. Mid April was a good time to go. Weather was a mix of sun and snow. Not too many ppl around

“Fabulous stay facing Swiss Alps...Super beautiful location”

The hotel is very beautiful. The Jungfrau Mountain range was visible right from our room's balcony. There is a beautiful lake right below the Alps but it was covered in clouds (winter) seeming like we are in a dreamy location. The hotel SPA is ultra modern and fabulous. There was a lavish spread for Breakfast. The breakfast room faced the Alps & the hostess/waitress was very sweet and provided great service. Loved everything about our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Quaint hotel”

Friendly staff. Incredible views. Large rooms with small kitchenette. No kettle in room to make coffee or tea. Good breakfast buffet.

“Great View and Value”

This hotel is about half the price of others listed in Interlaken at the 4 star rating, but it is because it is actually 25 minutes up the mountain from Interlaken. It worked out well for us though - great space for families travelling with small children together, excellent views, and super restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. If you want to be in the townsite of Interlaken this hotel is NOT for you, but for one or two nights of hiking or in transit to Zermatt to see the Matterhorn it is a beautiful location and a great bargain. It had an amazing pool area, kids' menu and lots of open space outside for playing and hiking.

“Greate place”

This is a beautiful hotel with great service. The view of Thunersee and Bernese Alps is breathtaking. If you travel by car and would like to stay in Interlaken area, this is the place to be.

“difficult hotel position.”

This hotel had stupendous views over Lake Thun and the Eiger & Jungfrau mountains.The reception & restaurant staff were extremely courteous & efficient. However, because the hotel was situated so high up the mountainside it took twenty minutes to drive up there from Interlaken, around at least 50 bends a lot of which were of the hairpin variety. Consequently, after a day walking around the Jungfrau paths it was too difficult to return to the hotel to change before going out for the evening in Interlaken. The hotel meals were mediocre but edible & the rooms were cleaned infrequently.However, on the whole the hotel stay was very pleasant.

“expensive”

a little bit out of the way bus 2 interlaken 13 swiss return so really u must eat in hotel which is rather expensive as not much else around at night
