“Quaint hotel”

Friendly staff. Incredible views. Large rooms with small kitchenette. No kettle in room to make coffee or tea. Good breakfast buffet.

“Fabulous stay facing Swiss Alps...Super beautiful location”

The hotel is very beautiful. The Jungfrau Mountain range was visible right from our room's balcony. There is a beautiful lake right below the Alps but it was covered in clouds (winter) seeming like we are in a dreamy location. The hotel SPA is ultra modern and fabulous. There was a lavish spread for Breakfast. The breakfast room faced the Alps & the hostess/waitress was very sweet and provided great service. Loved everything about our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

I want to live in this hotel. We were blown away by the view. Private patio in every room. Living room with a spiral staircase down to a separate bathroom. Good sized bathroom. Even a kitchenette and dining table. This was really a suite and I think all the rooms were the same. Fantastic pool. The staff was super friendly. Really, if I could live there, I would.

Drop dead view of Alps and Lake Thun. We went sledding with the kids near Niederhorn (April). Great dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Nice pool and sauna facilities

“Amazing view of the Alps”

Love this hotel! It was a 30 minute drive up a windy mountain road to reach Beatenburg but it was totally worth it. We had a spacious apartment (kitchenette included) and a balcony with a view of the Alps. Our queen bed was more like 2 twins pushed together but we found this in all the Swiss hotels. The kitchenette cabinets were locked so we weren't sure if we could use the stove but there was a refrigerator. The breakfast buffet was the best I had seen with a bounty of fresh fruit, rolls and bread, meats, cheeses, and eggs. The staff was very friendly, efficient and professional. A bonus was finding a laundry room on the property and getting our clothes washed (3 CHF for wash and 1 for a dry). Parking is free and the town is very quiet in April. The only sound I heard was the bells on the goats grazing next to our hotel. There was an excellent restaurant and we ate there twice because nothing else was open and it is too far to drive into Interlaken for dinner. This is the perfect place for a relaxing stay in the mountains.

“Great View and Value”

This hotel is about half the price of others listed in Interlaken at the 4 star rating, but it is because it is actually 25 minutes up the mountain from Interlaken. It worked out well for us though - great space for families travelling with small children together, excellent views, and super restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. If you want to be in the townsite of Interlaken this hotel is NOT for you, but for one or two nights of hiking or in transit to Zermatt to see the Matterhorn it is a beautiful location and a great bargain. It had an amazing pool area, kids' menu and lots of open space outside for playing and hiking.

“Greate place”

This is a beautiful hotel with great service. The view of Thunersee and Bernese Alps is breathtaking. If you travel by car and would like to stay in Interlaken area, this is the place to be.
