quiet. no road noise. attentive staff. wide choice of breakfast items changing daily. I'd absolutely recommend this hotel over others -- more expensive -- in Beaufort.

“Beaufort Charming”

Very nice hotel, staff was pleasant and cordial. Room was very nice on first floor. Hotel was hard to find because the sign was obstructed by bushes and other signs.

Honestly some of the other reviews of Beaufort hotels in general scared me to death. After head-scratching and web-searching for hours, I decided on the Hampton as my "best bet". Mission accomplished! As noted by others, it's tucked away and practically invisible from the street; just look for "Applebees" and turn there. I was immediately impressed when I entered by the helpful politeness and professionalism of the desk clerk, the spotless premises, and afterwards by the quiet and cozy room. Almost every review I read mentioned how comfortable the beds were, and I will too! I don't think I"ve ever had a more clean and comfortable hotel bedroom, certainly not at the price level. Not a sound could be heard from the highway and the room air conditioners have a wall thermostat - nice touch! Beaufort isn't a big enough town for "convenience" to be much of an issue, but the Hampton was spot-on for our needs (Marine graduation). In fact the hotel gave us a brochure about the graduation and Parris Island base in general that answered our questions better than anything else we found online or off.

It was a beautiful hotel with great service.The bed was so comfortable.

We have stayed at other hotels in the area but this one had the best breakfast, well kept and up to date roomes and nice grounds and it cost me less than the others

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean, the breakfast was good and the landscape was very pretty. I would stay here again. Its kind of hidden, if we didn't know it was behind Applebees we would have gotten lost.

Beds were extremely comfortable. Room very clean and comfortable. Had nice view of marsh. Watched some people fishing with nets, saw egrets and herons. Very quiet and private location. Staff friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel when visiting the Beaufort area. Looking forward to visiting the area again, lovely historic town.

“Looking forward to return trip”

Visited Beaufort for HS reunion. Location was great for getting to reunion sites. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Local map provided at check-in was helpful in orienting myself to the much bigger Beaufort than I had known. Room was clean and quiet. I liked the way the hotel was located giving you a feeling of privacy yet close to the main road into Beaufort. I look forward to staying there on some future trip.

This hotel was beautiful! The beds were so very comfortable! The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was delicious! It was easy to miss at first because of how the road names change. Be sure to turn between the Waffle House and the Applebee's. We stayed two nights while we toured Beaufort and Hilton Head. Definitely prefer Beaufort area over Hilton Head area.
