Not GoodPosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: Not much.
I'm sorry to report that the Sleep Inn leaves a lot to be desired. I choose the Sleep Inn because my stay in Fort Lee, Va. was so wonderful. All tho the staff was nice everything else was terrible. No waffle machine, continental breakfast was bad , place was very shabby. To add insult to injury a huge cockroach was strutting around our room. I would not recommend this hotel.

They charged extra for the rooms because of our dog Even though I booked a pet friendly room. Shabby carpet and stained. Very poor maintenance. The beds were clean and slept good

Convenient, not ready to usePosted Aug 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
The front dest clerk was great and understood our concerns. In all fairness to the Sleep Inn, he told us they were preparing for renovation. I've stayed at other Sleep Inns and they were wonderful. This one in Beaufort, SC was not and should not have been open to the general public for use. The pool was closed, the main courtin was not functional to be closed, the room has a musty odor - I suppose normal in that area, bathroom was rather out of sorts.

Never again....Posted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: Close to Parris Island. The shower was very nice.
Cons: Needs updated mattresses
Location: Location was close to Parris Island
My only good experience at this motel was the staff was efficient and friendly. The rooms are very rundown and look nothing like the pictures on the website. The furniture is very worn out and the mattress was very hard and VERY old. I woke up with a headache and a backache. The pool was closed....there was a sign on front desk that said it was "temporarily" closed but when I asked when it would open back up I was told that it wouldn't. An outdoor pool was the main reason I chose this motel. My advice to fellow travelers....spend a little extra and stay someplace else!!

HorriblePosted Aug 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was shocked and appalled at the conditions of the hotel. Not only was it mildewed all over in the hallway and rooms, the hotel allowed people to smoke in the hallways, rooms (which you immediately smelled when you walked in the halls). The "brunch" was sub par (runs out of juice, eggs were called, pastry old.. There was no business center, just one computer (which needed work done on it) printer, which did not work, situated in the front main lobby where if one was to be doing business, there was no privacy. My TV was not acting properly, when maintenance was called, I was greeted by a man who looked as if I was disturbing him, twice I came back to the room, and it had not been cleaned. The gym and pool were closed, because of repairs. I will say there were two female front desk clerks (night and day shift) who were very professional and empathized with me on some of the issues. I am a loyal customer of this chain of hotels and I have to say this was the first time I was not pleased.....

Check-in Person was very friendlyPosted Jul 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is badly in need of renovation but the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was okay and filling. It has indoor corridors which is always nice.
