Historic comfort, friendly host & guestsPosted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Historic character and charm.
We had a great time at The Cuthbert House and plan to return. The rooms were generous and comfortable. Breakfest was nice, and the included wine reception in the evening was very welcoming. We also learned a lot about Beaufort history.

Loved The Cuthbert!Posted Jan 22, 2015
Pros: This hotel is in a great location and makes you feel at home. We loved it here, views are spectacular, the food good and the staff is tremendous.
Location: Great location and near town and other attractions.
From Check-in to Check-out our experience was absolutely great! Wes was very professional and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. In our discussions we were amazed that he has not held his position very long. We thought that he had been at the Cuthbert Inn form many years. He is a great asset to this property and his love for his job really shows. On this visit the owners were away on a trip and a friend Charlie Mitchel and his wife filled in for them. Love visiting with Charlie Mitchel each morning sharing tales of the grand kids and his knowledge of the area....really warm and great person.

Cuthbert Inn, Beaufort, ScPosted Nov 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Cuthbert Inn was in a great location; in walking distance to downtown Beaufort and and a short drive to the nearby islands. The breakfasts were well planned and delicious. Joy was terrific in making our stay enjoyable and in providing information on sites of interest and local restaurants.

A great B&B in a beautiful townPosted Oct 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
For those who like an inn or B&B over a hotel, this is the place to be if you are in Beaufort, SC. The place is beautifully restored and within walking distance of Beaufort's downtown restaurants and shopping. It overlooks the water. In addition to wonderful breakfasts, the owners host a social hour every day with wine and appetizers and is a great place to hear stories about the town and exchange information with other guests.

Beautiful house in a perfect locationPosted Sep 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
My wife and I loved staying at this charming B&B. The location was perfect for enjoying a glass of wine on the porch overlooking the water and very close to restaurants, bars and shopping. The B&B offered a tasty breakfast, a social hour with drinks and snacks as well as bikes for exploring the city. We loved our room with a view but found the bathroom to be a bit less luxurious than we had hoped.

Cuthbert House Inn as Our Home BasePosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: The people, the history and the ambience.
Location: See above.
We used Cuthbert House Inn as our home base in traveling between Charleston and Savannah for five days. This turned out to be a wise decision. Our time in Beaufort was well spent between the historic areas of the city, the lighthouse and state park on Hunting Island, the great history of the islands and the wonderful local restaurants recommended by the Inns 'staff. Jeff and Mary Ann, as well as the staff, are wonderful hosts who will share glass of wine and some homemade snacks during the evening social hour(Don't pass it up the good food and conversation). Breakfasts could not have been better. We were treated to different offerings everyday. One day was frittatas, another was the Cuthbert House take on a bird's nest. Another day was pecan Belgian waffles. Everyday we were served fresh fruit and the beverage of our choice. I can say we were never disappointed.
