Very comfortable and a good rate

Pros: The area was close to family and was very convenient
The hotel was very nice and clean. It was a good price for senior citizens.

Wasn't expecting too much for the price

And didn't get too much. Breakfast was lacking. Desk clerk wasn't friendly. Wanted a cheap place and did get that!

Eat breakfast out!!

Even though the neighborhood was not good, you would never know it from the hotel. Being there I felt completely safe. Everything about the hotel was wonderful except for the breakfast. They could definitely do a number of things to improve it.

OK for the Money

I had to come into town for a funeral. Booked at the last minute through Hotels.com. I got there and they did not have my reservation. Luckily they had a room available and even gave me a lower rate. The guy behind the counter says that happens a lot so if you book through Hotels.com, you will want to call the hotel to verify they have your reservation. You can also inquire about a lower rate. The room was nice, beds were soft and clean. The carpet felt like they had some kind of paper padding under foot as opposed to a soft padding. Not bad but a little strange. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy with sausage,cereal, waffles,oatmeal and fruit.

Nice for a short stay

Location: The location was not the best, but we felt safe.
This hotel met our needs for a one night stay. Price was reasonable especially since it included a continental breakfast.
