A/C from Hell

Pros: soft bed
Cons: a/c was horrible
Location: went to several bars in the area
The hotel did not have an elevator, which I'm ok with, so you have to carry your bags up a narrow staircase. The coke machines were broke so no soda. The a/c in the hallway was set at 60 but was blowing air at 80 degrees. At this point I'm worried. The a/c in my room was set at 60 but blew about 75 and struggled to keep up.Every 10 minutes it would shut down and then laboriously start back up. I can sleep through anything but my wife has trouble sleeping through it. My advice would be to spend more for a better room. mine was at the midway point of 100 and thought I was getting a deal. I was wrong.

The location was ok

The hotel was ok ,but the map directions were wrong. It said it was on college but it in fact was on the feeder going south from the intersection. I had to drive around some to find it. Also the room was supposed to be ready for check in at 2PM. I got there at 3:30 PM and it was not ready which I found out when I went to the room after check in. The manager gave me another room which was the same .

The room was clean and in good condition but had a musty smell to it. The restroom had a sewer gas smell to it.

They said i had no rereservations, they were rude, it smelled like urine, and bugs were crawling on the floor. I did not stay there and want a refund.

Room smelled bad! Breakfast was nasty! And service was horrible! Also no elevator & my wife has a bad knee .I regret staying there. I will never take my family to a Ramada again, there are too many other choices.

Smelly, dirty & rude

It smelled like mold & stale cigeretts. The front desk manager answered the phone while we were waiting to be helped and started arguing with a coworker about a booking they took. We book through hotels.com & he couldn't find our booking even with the copy of the reservation I had on my phone he insisted we stand there while he impatiently got a hold of hotel.com's customer service he talked over the phone agent and insisted that it was all their fault.

I checked into the Ramada for an overnight stay in Beaumont. The gentlemen on staff that night was friendly. I went to my room, flipped on the light; and saw a huge bug ( it resembled a roach, but I'm not positive) in the middle of the floor. I immediately alerted the staff and he gave me another room right away. The second room was on the first floor and had an overwhelming smell of mildow/ mold. With the air conditioning on, the smell was still there. The room was clean, but there definitely is an issue with water damage.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while I was waiting to move into my apartment. The room was decent for the price. Upon check-in I was given keys to someone else's room. The front desk staff apologized for the mistake and fixed the issue. The HBO channels didn't work at all. I asked for a non-smoking room, but every time I came back to the room it smelled like smoke. The location was fine. Lots of places to eat and immediate access to the interstate. For the price, it was decent for a short stay
