Nice place to stop while travelingPosted Aug 5, 2014
We stopped here driving from FL to TX and it was a great place for the price. The best "travel stop" hotel I've stayed in actually, and I paid the least! I'd stay here again.

BLEW OUR MINDS....IN A BAD WAYPosted Jul 21, 2014
This hotel was extremely clean, newly remodeled and the pictures are exactly what its like. But I have never been to a hotel that was out of toilet paper, extra pillows ( each person gets one small pillow so watching tv is out) and extra towels (each person also gets one ). Even when we asked the front desk we were told that they were out. This hotel was also unique bc they don't provide expected amenities like a coffee pot, hair dryer, ice bucket or even cups. And of course no micro or refrig. So what you get is a bed and a shower but you may have to drip dry.

Find another hotel!Posted Jul 16, 2014
The evening that we arrived after a 7 hour drive..... No cable = No T.V. they didn't compensate in any way to make up for it. The entire hotel was quiet which made it freaky. The sheets and comforter that we slept in were torn with what appeared to be cigarette burns when I asked for a non-smoking room. Sink wasn't very good sure to no room to place toothbrush or other items on. It was plainly just a sink. Pool wasn't clean all they did was put chlorine in it.

One of the nicer 2 star hotelsPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: read above
Cons: read above
Location: don't know
Hotel was okay. A/C couldn't be adjusted to high or low. You either turn it on or off manual right by the outlet. Toilet paper holder was broken off and bath towels were EXTREMELY thin. Smelled okay, walls were thick enough that you couldn't hear the other side of the hotel room. Elevator was SOOOO slow. There was only 1 cart to bring your luggage up to your hotel room and it seems to be always GONE. Some upgrades to the bathroom and the tv, so that is a plus.

Not the best but good enoughPosted Jun 23, 2014
Overall a good stay but the sheets needed to be completely replaced. I just needed somewhere to sleep for the night and I got it at a good price but sheets were dingy and old. Staff replaced sheets upon request but the new sheets were just as bad.

You get what you pay for...Posted Jun 23, 2014
When we arrived to the hotel the lobby was loud and there were people everywhere. The staff at the desk was welcoming upon arrival and directed us to the elevator and room. The room left much to be desired, there were hairs stuck to the pillows and the beds were horribly uncomfortable. The night hours were horrible. people were yelling and running up and down the hallways. We didn't sleep very well at all. On Thursday evening we attempted to purchase a drink from a machine and they were all empty. I'd recommend ponying up the extra funds and staying elsewhere.

Good enough for the moneyPosted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: Cheap and decent location.
Cons: The bed sheets were awful. The A/C wasn't very effective; seemed like it was very humid inside the room, but it did blow very cold.
Location: Floyds seafood is literally nextdoor and the food their is AMAZING if you like cajun seafood and oysters.
Decent location right off Hwy. 69/ I-10. Thin walls/ floors so you can hear everybody around you. Terribly thin sheets that were hard to sleep with. Felt reasonably safe. Wifi was slow and unprotected. Good tv cable channels.

Just a night passing through but a decent tourist class hotel. Rooms were clean and pleasantly modern.
