You get what you pay for

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: Quiet room away from the freeway, hot water, clean room, nice person who checked me in, VERY easy to find, near Subway, McDonalds and a gas station.
Cons: This is a basic, no frills hotel. If you have low expectations, you will be pleased by the clean, quiet room (if you are away from the freeway.)
I didn't pay a lot, so I am pleased. No elevator to second floor. I will come back again.

My stay was uneventful. Everything went well.

Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: no problems.
Cons: not sure. I would stay there again if i was in the area
Location: Small town.
Hotel did not have a lot to offer but was clean and inexpensive. I got my money's worth.

Sparse and disappointing.

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: We did fine. The price through Expedia was reasonable for what we got. The AC unit in the motel worked well. And we showered and slept well.
Cons: The Rooms are void of any aminities. No pictures on the walls, no shampoo, no clock/radio, no hairdryer, no vending machines. Bring what you need.
Location: We were in Beaver for Butch Cassidy Days.It was fun. Also the Court House Museum and the beautiful buildings in Beaver. Lots of ATV & back Co. roads.
From the outside the Motel looks reasonable. When you walk into the lobby, it is large but sparse. No pictures on the walls, no plants, only a table with 2 chairs & a side board with coffee on it, a front desk with a telephone on it and a message to call 301 for help. There is a plastic container for room cards. At the back of the front desk you could look through a window into the utility room. There were blinds on the window that should have been let down to obscure the view. When we got into the room, it too was sparse. A low king size bed, a dresser/desk with a TV and remote, a table and 2 chairs. No pictures on the wall, no fridge or microwave. We had a bed, a bathroom and it was clean enough. No Breakfast of any kind but McDonalds is in walking distance. We did just fine. In the large handicap bathroom there were the proper amount of linens and 2 soaps. One of the soaps crumbled when we opened it. The sign on the mirror said we could get what we needed from the vending machine. There was no vending machine. And no Wi-Fi. Nor was there a lobby computer. The pool was cloudy and cold. The spa was broken and unusable. We didn't swim, which we love to do. So I was sad about that..

Would not stay here again.

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Check in was fast and easy. It was downhill from there. We arrived at the room and the door lock/handle decided to work when it wanted to and the peephole in the door was missing. Someone stuck an old foam earplug in the peephole to keep people from looking in. YUCK! When we mentioned it at the front desk, she just said sorry and that was it. It was creepy having to sleep in a room with a hole in the door. We have a pet and stay at Motel 6 often because they are pet friendly, but that doesn't mean it is ok to put us in a room with dirty bedspreads. When we woke up in the morning there were tons of ants crawling all over the baseboards, sink area and towels. When we left, there was no one at the front desk. We dropped our key in the box and left without being able to tell them about the ants. I feel for whoever had to stay in that room next time around. I definitely will not stay at this Motel 6 again.

Not restful

Posted Jul 1, 2015
nice people. It was a cheep lay-over, which Is what I needed, but I couldn't sleep well at all. Hot, stuffy-even with window open. Pillows and beds were not comfy. I liked the floor-not carpet, so it felt cleaner! I was in a non smoking room, and was thankful I did not smell smoke in the room, but had to go through smoke clouds to and from the room. The pool was good to get energy out, but spa was out of order. No hot water for coffee/tea.

If this were the last place on earth

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: everything
Location: terrible
Check in should have been at 2 pm. They were not ready until 5 pm. Rooms were dirty. Bathroom discusting. Staff could not speak English. The bed frames were jimmy rigged. If you sat on any one side of the bed, the other side would rise off the floor. Beds were squeeky to. Very uncomfortable. Noisy all night long. Sound like someone was fighting above us, all night long. No fridge, no microvave, no breakfast, no coffee or tea at reception, nothing, nada, zilch. The place was downright scary. If this were the last place on earth with an availible room, sleep outside or in your car instead.

Terrible stay

Posted Jun 5, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Our stay was the worst in 20 plus years. The bed was as hard as if it was on a concrete slab, but if it was it would be at least more stable. The bed would tip over if you were near the edge and squeeked all night. I would not EVER stay there again. And maybe not in Motel 6 again. I'll stay in the park if there is no other option. Bad! Bad! Bad!
