Motel 6 thumbs down!
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Cons: Everything.
When I first got to the hotel there was no one at the front desk. I had to wait until someone arrived. The man was very nice, but was not great at speaking or understanding English. So simple questions like when the pool closed were very hard to get the answer to. And then one night my son got sick and vomited on the blankets and it was very hard to explain to house keeping that we needed new blankets. When we got into the room it was just smelly. Almost like that room had not been used fro a long time or cleaned, it was just stale air. I went in to use the restroom and could see Urine all over the baseboards of the restroom, which I guess being a mother of boys I notice that stuff. It had not been cleaned. Over all I just felt like it was very dirty and gross. The gentleman was very nice and tried to take care of us, but the language barrier was not easy so somethings were let go because it was not worth the time to try and explain it. I would not stay here again.

Below expectations for a motel 6.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: This was a one night stop on our way to SLCity, Utah.
The bathroom was clean and that was it. The carpeting was filthy and would not suggest walking in bare feet. The comforts which we stripped off the beds as quickly as possible were stained and one actually had blood stains on the underside. The sheets were stained and the blanket had cigarette burn holes in it. I pull out the little light stand to plug in my phone and there was filthy an inch thick behind it....no way it had ever been vacuumed. We broke out our Clorox clean ups and whipped down everything we could. Our sleep was spuratic because after cleaning and see the condition of the bedding you felt like you had things crawling on you. We will never stay at a Motel 6 again.....I guess the old adage is true...."You get what you pay for" and in this case we paid way too much. This was a quick one night stay mid travel to Utah......next. Trip back to the Marriott . Rate no high than 1/2 a star.

Do not stay here
Posted Jan 9, 2013
Pros: Book somewhere else, we went to Super 8 and they were professional and place was clean.
Cons: I have nothing good to say about this place; Motel 6 needs to step in here and make changes.
Location: Does not matter
This place was disgraceful, staff Mike was less than caring. we were at this place for less than 30 minutes total and could not stand the Oder; Television did not work, molding coming off the walls, bedding dirty.

Ok stay but the beds were hard.

It was an OK stay. Just about what you'd expect for the price. There was no continental breakfast and we knew that but they did say they had coffee but the coffee pot was empty and nobody would come to the desk upon leaving. Also, I didn't take any shampoo with me because I've never stayed at a hotel without shampoo but this one didn't have any. Only a small bar of soap was provided.

friendly folks. extremely clean and well maintained room. even though it's not been updated in a long time, it's not shabby at all. clean smelling sheets and pillows. the parking lot was even clean. no phony "cash pet deposit" here. WILL BE BACK!

We were surprised to find out that they didn't have Pack N Plays available for babies so had to make bring our own. We stayed at Motel 6 because of the cost and location. It was only 15 miles from where the rest of our group was camping and we had a new baby. We had a fridge and micro-wave and a warm place for the baby at night and a swimming pool for our 3 year old. Worked well for this type of trip, but wouldn't be our first choice for comfort, but much better than a tent.
