Travelodge by Wyndham Beckley is a great spot to stop on your drive to somewhere else. This is a place I return to every time I journey south to north. The location is very convenient, and the staff are always friendly. The rooms are clean, a little worn and needing renovation, but provide a comfortable stopover nonetheless. Lots of dining options a minute or two walk away make this a great location.

Rooms are extremely outdated and dirty. No fridge in the rooms. Stink bugs all over inside. No blankets on the beds. Only sheets. Towels had stains on them. We ended up going somewhere else because this is a rundown roach motel. And the lady walking around cleaning the rooms was clearly on meth. Stay away from this place!!!

You get what you pay for. The bed was awful, a huge caved in section in the middle. Not super clean at all. Very creaky, you can hear everything outside of your door. The staff were kind. For us it was just somewhere to sleep on our road trip.

This “dump” should not be open! It’s filthy, infested with bugs (including roaches and bedbugs). We were in the rooms for an hour and left! I don’t see how they can even operate. I’m awaiting my full refund!

For a budget style hotel, it was well worth the cost, very convenient to the freeway, fast food venues and a couple of restaurants. My little rescue is dog is skiddish so he would react to the typical noises in the hotel but I should have stayed on the top floor

When I finally found my room. There was something in the air in my room . I could feel particles when I was breathing. I immediately went to the front desk for a refund. I stayed somewhere else. I need information to contact you for a refund.

Rooms and the room i reserved, was not available, the hotel did everything to make me happy, for them i appreciate it. Expedia selling rooms that they didn't have. Call ahead before booking.

The room was small and not what I paid for. Paid for a king bed. When I got there they had no kings available so they said they would give me a queen. What I got was a double. I should get a refund.

When we got there the police were showing up. Dirty room. Room was awful. Asked for extra blankets and pillows and didn’t receive or a cot. We felt very unsafe and barely slept.

This place is a dump. The drapes are falling off the rods, there is only 2 washcloths for a room that is supposed to accommodate 6, the carpet is fraying and the chain lock on the door is broken. I have taken photos. The ONLY reason we stayed is that we had been on the road for over 24 hours and needed to rest.

Our stay was very positive. Room was clean, shower pressure was amazing. Great location right off interstate. McDonalds, DQ and gas were walking distance away. Great hot breakfast incl. Quiet location. Nice accommodating staff. Excellent price. Cons: No fridge or Microwave in room as advertised!

Thank you for your response.. I do apologize for the microwave and fridge. Those were supposed to be removed from all of the booking sites. I will make sure that gets taken care of

My wife and i reserved a room online while in the car as we needed a quick, cheap place to stay while traveling back home. Upon our arrival, the front desk clerk was friendly and courteous. The room was in the back of a poorly lit parking lot and it appeared that we were the only vehicle or people there. Why put us all the way in the back then? We didn't make more than 2 steps in the room before we were overwhelmed with a rotten stench. It smelled as if something died in there. The condition of the room was very run down, dimly lit and just all around repulsive. The area immediately surrounding the property was very run down as well. The online pictures and description definitely did not match. We did not feel safe in the area and our decision to leave immediately was easy.

Rehab needed for Beckly Travel lodge
The first room we walked into wasn’t cleaned. the maid never cleaned the room after the last guest. The next room was clean, but after further inspection the had mucus the shower curtain and hair in shower and on floor. The entrance to our floor was steep steel staircase on outside of building it was cold and snowing not good for anyone with knee problems or a disability, door at top of stairs older storm door and needs replaced does not shut all the way and lock, door window was open and would not shut allowing cold air to pour in, the window in our room was seal water damaged and hard to see out of. The final straw in the straw of stay was waking up turning on the light and a huge roach crawling down the wall above the tv! The only positive thing of this stay was the friendly staff who try their best to make the guests feel welcome! This Inn has the potential to be a good property with a targeted rehab and deep cleaning.

I was originally booked in a room for 4 when I had asked for a suite for 6 people. Late arrival for our family so we didn’t have the choice to move rooms but the « suite #48…- the door looked like someone kicked it in. The door didn’t lock properly and I could see outside from inside my room. I could stick my finger outside from the inside of the room door. The lady behind the desk said to her colleagues « it must be the room where someone kicked it in for a free stay ». 🙄 There were bugs the size of my thumb nail. Box of bed had a huge metal rail that stuck out which my family member hurt their shin walking to the bathroom. There were awful stains on the chairs and bedcovers, cigarette burns on the blanket. One of the towels looks like someone wiped themselves with it after using the washroom. Never again.

Walking into my 1st floor room (by the emergency exit) the first thing I noticed was the floor needed to be swept, and there was a diabetic test strip on the floor. There was no blanket provided, only the thin sheet. I was traveling with my dog; I went to take him out via the emergency exit and it was not closed/secure. I checked to see if I needed to have a key card to re-enter the building; not only did I not need a key card but the door didn’t even close. AT ALL. Slept in my clothes with the door blocked. Next day I noticed the hotel appears to have multiple “permanent” guests. The dumpster was full of discarded furniture. If I could rate this hotel in negative numbers I would. Not safe. Not clean. Never. Again.

^The room was very dirty and the carpet smelled so bad my sinuses plugged up. Parking lot outside of room was noisy until after 1 a.m. Should void this part of town.

This hotel is not a clean place to stay. Smokey and run down. When I walked into my room it wasn’t even 5mins before I saw roaches running through my room. I immediately went to go check out. The lady at the door said she can give me my money back tomorrow and I have not yet heard from her or the hotel.
