“DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!”

We reserved a Non-Smoking room but had to stay in a room that smelled like an ash tray! eyes watered and nose ran all night. We did not have time to complain, nor find another motel, it's as if you order am Impala and get a Malibu.

“Stay away”

The only thing clean in this motel was the sheets I had fleas jumping on me. The towels were all worn and old. A motel can be old but can still be clean. If I could have found another motel at the last miniute I would have left.

“Nice One Night Lay-over”

We stayed at this hotel for one night while on our way from the Cincinnati, OH area to Wiliamsburg, VA. The room was pretty clean except that after walking on the carpet all night we could notice our socks/feet getting a little dirty. The staff was polite and helpful, they even reccomended a local playground for my 3-year old daughter to play at which was nice. The free continental breakfast was nice even if the eating area was a little cramped when it got "busy". I would defintely recommend this hotel to someone needing a low cost room for a night or two.

Clean spacious room, easy location, across the street from food and convienence store (CVS).

“Not Impressed”

not the best. location was convenient for us though. the hallway smelled like smoke. but thankfully our room did not. i was surprised to see animals in the hotel.

“NEVER AGAIN”

I have never stayed in a worse place. The dirt, filth and smell permeated the place. Everything was dirty and everything smelled, from the lobby to the room. There was mold around the bathtub, the carpeting stunk and the room stunk. You would have thought someone had been ill in the room and they failed to clean it up. Breakfast was a joke and was served in that same dirty environment in the lobby area. It was disgusting. This place needs a full renovation or demolishing. It was embarrasing to take my family into a place like this and a sad way to spend the last night of our vacation.

“Would not go back. Makes me wonder about other Howard Johnson motels.”

Check in and check out not very friendly. Don't remember anyone smiling or welcoming us or saying they hoped we came back. Smoke smell in the hall which filtered into the rooms. Bathroom not completely clean. Unable to get to facial tissue in dispenser. No elevator, so had to take luggage up back stairs. Another man complained about smoke smell, too, but the staff didn't seem to care. Lobby was cluttered and not very inviting.

“Very Friendly”

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and eager to please. It was a good experience and I will stay there again soon.

“Not so much...”

The staff was nice but that is where the good comments stop. It was not clean, note kept up well, smelled like smoke everywhere. We were traveling with our dogs and thats the only reason we picked this hotel. We will not stay there again.
