OK for a nightPosted Jan 30, 2015
Pros: Cheap, Clean, Quiet
Cons: The parking lot - Would be nicer to show a separate entrance directly to the hotel rather than haveing to drive right in front of the Adult Superstore
Location: Winterplace Ski Resort
This hotel is OK if you are just spending the night and need somewhere to sleep. The biggest downside is the terrible parking lot and the Adult Superstore right next to it. It's a no frills hotel- but was clean, just old. Was also cheap compared to others around.

very close to Winterplace Ski ResortPosted Jan 22, 2015
Pros: Close to the ski slope, clean rooms.
Cons: Continental breakfast had bagels, muffins, coffee, and orange juice. No fruit was provided and the cream cheese was served in one large container.
When we arrived, the first thing we saw was yellow caution tape across the front entrance, there was only 2 cars in the parking lot, and it was right beside a XXX adult store, which was scary. The manager was very nice though and the room was clean. It advertised a hair dryer in every room but I had to go to the front office and get one each time I wanted to use it. They must have had only one for the hotel because the manager said that the other gentleman in the hotel needed to use it in the morning.

Don't clean the roomPosted Nov 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
I found a empty BEER CAN under the bed between the wood frame and the comforter,,, A container of PILLS beside the bed and table so I really don't think they clean the rooms.

A place to take a napPosted Oct 25, 2014
This hotel had an entrance that was muddy and lots of pot holes. The room smelled bad and only minimal towels. It had a sex shop next door and was really shady. Avoid this hotel if you can.

The hotel was best knights inn, I ever stayed in.Posted Oct 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
The stay was ok, but it was hard getting into it due to trucks, destroying the driveway.

Knights Inn Nightmare of gigantic proportionsPosted Oct 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
First of all, we were told the beds were queen and that breakfast was a hot full breakfast. Neither of these were even close to being accurate. The hotel was right nextdoor to an adult bookstore at the end of a dirt potholed road/parking area. Poorly lit and a terrible feel. I was very uncomfortable having my young kids with us there. Rooms were fairly clean, but toilets didn't flush properly,heat/ac unit didnt function properly, bathtowels were extremely thin, old and stained. There weren't enough for the number of guests per room. Bedsheets did not fit the beds. They were also very holy and thread bare. There were no amenities like soaps, shampoos, coffee offered in room. Light bulbs were burnt out, linoleum flooring was torn, and stained. Breakfast was a joke! It consisted of stale old bagels, oatmeal mixes with no milk provided,a jug of juice almost outdated, and also available were a couple leftover muffins!! Hotel staff were rude and unhelpful!! My party of 6 adults and 2 children were appalled at the conditions and some were even fearful and "creeped out" with the atmosphere and acomodations of the hotel!!!! Even with this essay, I am not able to properly describe how horrid this hotel and our stay there was.

Extra cheap ratePosted Sep 13, 2014
Overall it was ok. Only "extras" were fridge and microwave. The price was cheap and got what I needed- a bed and shower, nothing fancy, but bug free, as far as I know. Owner was nice and approachable and tried to be accommodating and helpful.

What you expect in the middle of nowhere...Posted Sep 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this hotel. We have family close by. Nothing special. Bed, TV, bathroom. Everything you need for an overnight visit. Towels were a little rough, no shampoo or conditioner(we had our own, but figured I would mention that there isn't any in the room). Couldn't get the WiFi to work that great either. The parking lot is pretty bad. And there is an Adult Store in the same lot. But we are from Cleveland, so that really didn't bother us. :)
