Not worth the price. Room ac was not functioning properly. Room was small. "Free" breakfast was disappointing.

Good hotel for one night stop

Good the staff was very helpful with half our party coming in very late. Breakfast area was very small and not a big selection. Rooms were spacious and clean

Uncomfortable on road trip

Pros: Not much.
Cons: Cleanliness!
Location: Good stopping off point on our trips south from western New York.
Hotel was dirty! Room, elevator, and main entrance.

Microtel, Beckley, WV

Pros: Close to the interstate.
Cons: Cleanliness......
Convenient to interstate, but was immediately disappointed when entering the hotel. The lobby pictures on the website look nothing like the actual decor. I honestly felt I was in the wrong hotel at first! It felt unclean and sparse. When booking a hotel online pictures play a huge part in the decision to book or not and what is represented in the online pictures was not what I found to be true. The room was adequate, but the a/c wasn't working properly and stayed warm throughout the night and the carpet felt sticky. It felt as if the bare minimum care and maintenance is practiced at this location. The cover on the a/c unit that covers the controls just fell off and with a 2 year old this isn't something no one wants to have to worry about. It just didn't "feel" clean..... Based on my experience with this particular location, I would not stay at this hotel again or any other Microtel.

Since those pictures were taken, we have updated the decor of the hotel and have not updated the pictures. I do apologize for the cleanliness issues. There is no excuse for this. Nice stay

Great hotel with friendly staff. The hot tub was great after a day if driving. The only issue we had was calling down to the front desk and getting no answer only to go down 2 minutes afterwards to see the desk person sitting there with his feet propped up on the desk and the phone ringing off the hook.

Old & not very clean

Pros: The lady that checked us in was nice.
Location: There were some things on the same road but most were at other exits
The breakfast was horrible. The space to try and get your food and sit was too small for the amount of people. The pool area was not clean and the smell of chlorine was overpowering. The place just didn't smell very good.The AC in the room was so dirty we had to turn the temp down to 64% and the fan on hi to cool the room down.

They need to have more choices of food for breakfast. However pool and hot tub were very clean! Room was also exceptually clean!

Pros: Great rooms! Indoor pool and hot tub!
Cons: Redesign the front desk area.
Location: The city has a lot of things that you could do even in the middle of the mountains.
Good rooms! Clean! In comparison to other hotels, it is satisfactory. The front desk set up is a little odd but doesn't take from the result of the experience.
