Of course it was nice - it's a Hilton

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Everything. Did not bring a bathing suit so did not get to enjoy the salt water pool. Next time. So much to do, so little time to use exercise room.
Cons: I know it is hard for room service to keep food warm when so many trays are being delivered during the morning rush. Hopefully, there is a way.
Location: On a quiet road, but close to major Route 3.
Very pleasant visit. Greeted with chocolate chip cookies and a smile. Started to relax from being on the road as soon as I entered the lobby. Room was beautiful and amazingly comfortable. Very clean. Coffee maker. Refrigerator. In-room safe. Beautiful bath. Very comfortable bed.

Beautiful Place

Beautiful place, friendly and helpful staff. Got just what I had requested and hoped for. Room w clean and quiet, and to top it off, great price and location. Will definitely stay there again in my next trip to Boston. Thank you Double Tree and thank you Expedia.

A good place for conferences.

Posted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: Friendly, not too stuffy.
Cons: Keys and locks that work better together. I and several other people had trouble getting the keys to work in the doors.
Location: At least 45 minutes from Logan airport, can be much more during rush hour, so plan ahead for a shuttle.
I was in a regular non-profit on-a-reasonable-budget conference with about 80 other people, and the facilities was just right for that. The conference rooms were great, the food was really good, and the service was excellent.

Convenient to most attractions. Little confusing to find using GPS. They should consider getting new beds.

Great hotel. Easy access and beautiful location. Only a few minutes from Boston without the big city feeling

Comfortable and reasonably priced

Posted Sep 22, 2014
The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, and the price was right. Especially given that other hotels in the Boston area run upwards of $400 a night. The only negative was the commute, which takes about 30 minutes without traffic to get to downtown Boston.

Awful experience. They charged me for my stay even though I did it through expedia. Currently waiting a returned call from them about it (been 12 hours). Messed up my reservation and didn't leave proper information in the hotel room.

Beautiful!

Roomy, clean, beautiful room. Lots to do in the hotel. Not much to do in the surrounding area, besides a mall nearby.

1 Staff member killed it for me!

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Spacious, quiet.
Cons: The manager should at least act with the same level of class as the hotel chain is known for.
Location: Near Boston, away from the hustle and bustle, but driving distance to a lot of nearby sites.
Nice Hotel, would generally recommend EXCEPT if you book through Expedia. The person managing the front desk seemed to have some disdain for Expedia members. I am a HHonors member. I happened to book this particular trip via Expedia, first time I did that. I am used to receiving a receipt the night before checking out. I didn't receive one, so I went to the front desk on the way out. I asked for a copy of the receipt and was asked if I wanted a blank piece of paper. I looked quizzically at the person and he mentioned I booked through Expedia. He reiterated that he'd give me a blank sheet of paper if I really wanted one. I thought that was crass, flippant and condescending. He was allegedly the manager. I let it go at that point, but decided to call to let him know I was disappointed with his comments. His apology? I'm sorry you TOOK it that way, not I'm sorry for the comment or I'm sorry I said that! I told him what he could have said was, "Since you booked through Expedia, they will provide the receipt." Offering me a blank piece of paper was uncalled for.
