“A truly relaxing and enjoyable vacation”

This hotel catered to both families and couples. The facility was clean and elegantly decorated. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We actually relaxed during this vacation and our children didn't want to leave. It was a wonderful escape from the demands of daily living with something offered for every age.

“Hidden Heaven”

This was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Staff seemed more than happy to assist you in any matter. Food was fantastic and I was more than impressed with the staffs efforts to make sure you were having a great experience. The history alone was facinating, great place to getaway from the rest of the world. There's a great little stream that runs through the resorts grounds that hold some nice trout, so if the misses is getting a nice spa treatment...there's a perfect chance for you to go wet a line and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings. We had a fantastic time there and will definetly be returning.

“Beautiful historic resort with great staff!”

We stayed at the resort because our daughter was getting married there that weekend. From the time we got there until the time we left everyone so was helpful. The staff went above and beyond taking care of all our needs for the wedding. Our room was very nice. My daughter and I enjoyed the spa the morning of the wedding and found it to be quite a treat. The bathes and the relaxation room were excellent and again the staff was really great. I would recommend this resort for anyone wanting to get away and have a relaxing weekend.

You are treated royally from the minute you hand your car to the valet! The hiking trails are beautiful, the restaurant was delicious and the resort and staff were amazing.

“Great weekend getaway”

Had a wonderful anniversary weekend here. Upon checking in, they asked if we were there for any special reason, we mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, and a little while later, they delivered chocolate covered strawberries to the room, which was so thoughtful. All of the staff that we interacted with were beyond pleasant...I would stay here again in a hearbeat!

wonderful SPA, great service, superb retreat. only issue: the SPA concept is a bit outdated, it can use more co-ed relaxation room and perhaps sauna.
