Snowed in...No problemPosted Feb 16, 2014
Cons: The prices in the Frontier Tavern are a bit high but not higher than other similar hotels.
Travelled to Bedford Springs with my kids in order to be close to skiing. Got stuck in the big snow of 2014. Being snowed in wasn't a problem. We enjoyed the pool, played UNO in the hotel's comfortable library, sipped tea by the fireplace and played checkers. We also enjoyed lunch at the Frontier Tavern which was also kid friendly. The valet staff were wonderful helping me with my luggage, clearing my car of snow and warming it up for my family.

Incredibly relaxing!Posted Feb 10, 2014
It is obvious that Omni Bedford Springs makes customer service a priority! Every staff member who greeted us was incredibly friendly (not in a fake because we have to way) and genuinely wanted to make sure that our stay there was a good experience. We were in the historic wing which was wonderful. It was, by today hotel standards, a long walk to room from the stairs or elevator but that was one of the wonderful nuances. This is an old building, rich with history and that is how it was designed! We enjoyed food and relaxation in the tavern, had massages in the incredible spa and took in a wonderful Yoga class. The hotel was booked, but we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Loved it -- can't wait to go back!

Gorgeous Historic GemPosted Feb 10, 2014
Location: Make sure you go to dinner at 10/09 in Bedford!
The hotel is gorgeous and the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Scott who works at the front door. The valet service is top notch and the cars are delivered very quickly for any trips to town or checkout. The valet crew always had my heated seats on and the heat cranked up, so the car was nice a toasty for my trip. (It was FREEZING during my trip!) The only downsides that I have, was that we had a room by the elevator and it was very noisy and our room was a handicapped accessible room which had a no-barrier shower which flooded the bathroom everytime you took a shower. This was remedied by putting down extra towels, but if you stay here ask for a room away from the elevator and, if you do not require it, a non-handicapped accessible room. Overall, my experience was relaxing and luxurious and I will be going back again!

Family getaway weekend...Posted Dec 16, 2013
Pros: The history, the Christmas decorations throughout , the little sitting areas everywhere. The friendly and abundt staff.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of at this time.
Location: The cute town of Bedford had several restaurants and little shops. The Old Bedford Village had a candlelight Christmas the weekend we were there.
My husband, daughter and I went for a nice getaway weekend. We fell in love with the Omni. The resort is beautiful and full of history, the staff is friendly , the room was comfortable and clean, the service and meal presentation was wonderful. There is not a thing I would change. We plan to return in the summer and maybe the fall to check out more of the grounds and all that the Omni has to offer.

Beautiful views at secluded hotelPosted Dec 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was beautiful. In fact, I would consider getting married there. The room had a wonderful view, was clean and very comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer to use more of the resort activities! The service was good. However, I found that the hotel staff were frequently away from their stations and you would need to wait for someone to appear. Honestly, I didn't mind mostly because I wasn't in a rush to get anywhere. However, I could see how that might be inconvenient. When the staff did appear, they were very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay, loved my breakfast in the Crystal room & the beautiful holiday decorations. I've been to the Omni in D.C. and it was gorgeous as well. Omni appears to have it right.

GREAT PLACEPosted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: The atmosphere, the casualness, and the ambiance.
Cons: Someone at the front desk who can navigate people from the crazy business routes with 220 business south and Rte. 30. Send people to Richards street.
Location: Town was enjoyable. The candy shop and the Alpaca shop were amazing.
Overall, I would rate the hotel and staff a 4.5. My biggest annoyance was the GPS systems did not have the travel route correct. I called hotel staff a few times to navigate me from the center of town to the hotel. It took almost a half hour. Your website should warn travels to rely on a map. Yet, the three-day stay was extremely wonderful. We are planning to return, perhaps, in April. We enjoyed it immensely. I enjoyed it so much that I passed along my pictures and recommendation to friends. We are hope to get a group of people together for a spring vacation. I am excited to see how quickly I can shape the plans. Great job, Omni! The O'Connors

Old, but very updated hotelPosted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: People were helpful and new how to help first time guests with their questions.
The Bedford Springs Hotel is an awesome older hotel, but everything is up-to-date and well done. Rooms are very nice and well appointed. We enjoyed our one night at the hotel.

I just wish Bedford was closer to Chicago. If possible request the new wing when traveling with your family. The rooms are larger and are closer to the pool. The front desk staff is awesome. Keep in mind that Bedford is isolated, so if you are looking to get away from your busy life it is perfect, but if you are looking for more you may be disappointed.
