“Excellent Value at the right time for Bletchley Park”

This is the second time I have stayed, in order to visit Bletchley Park. (The Codebreakers). I would recomment it to anyone visiting Bletchley.

“clean modern hotel, pleasant staff, shame about the location”

a clean modern hotel unfortunateley situated in a semi industrial/ shopping area. i can't fault the staff, the rooms, the food, we had breakfast included and ate in the restaurant one night. only drawback is its location. it is attached to MK Dons stadium, which is one of its selling points, but we missed this when booking. the hotel is surrounded by carparks and shopping and industrial units so the view was less than pleasant. overall a good hotel if you just want somewhere to sleep and don't want any amenities in walking distance.

“Brilliant hotel!”

This hotel was fab! The hotel staff were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. (Don't let the half built car park put you off). We had a room with a view of the pitch - the room was more than big enough for the two of us, incredibly clean and the power shower was a real luxury! We didn't sample the food as I'd read bad reviews, but there's plenty of places to try in Milton Keynes. The only downside was the less than welcoming staff in the pitchside bar, but maybe they were just having an off day! I have already recommended to my family (avid MK supporters) who will be visiting in the New Year. Will definitely be staying here again!

“Modern and reasonable”

Good location, modern set up, decent stay. It was a bit noisy downstairs because there was an event on, but otherwise pleasant enough.

“A decent hotel for a good price”

I thought this was a really good hotel, especially for the money. The rooms were spacious, clean and well decorated. The breakfasts were good too (even sneaked a giant muffin out with us for later!) The staff were friendly enough too. All round, no complaints.

“Fantastic overall bar the hard bed!”

We came down Friday night to watch Huddersfield Town v MK on Saturday in the playoffs. On arrival there was ample parking and we were told we could leave our car there during the game. Check in was quick and simple and our room was easy to find. The room itself was fantastic especially with a pitch side view! The only thing I would complain about was that the bed was rock hard and consisted of two pushed together so had a ditch in the middle. Overall though our experience was brilliant and we would like to thank everyone at the hotel for being so friendly and welcoming.

“Not at all impressed”

I really hated it. I was staying at the hotel for a wedding. There are no signs to the hotel at all and the hotel staff didn't seem to know their way around Milton Keynes or even give me directions to another place for an evening event which appeared to be 10 mins away. On the way back to the hotel after I rang the hotel for directions only to have to say on the phone for over 40 mins while I was passed around from pillar to post for someone to tell me how to get to the hotel. I know I was near by (i.e. less than 5 mins away) but the hotel staff didn't seem to know where the hotel was even when I gave them names of the roads and the buildings that were around me . It seemed like they couldn't care less and the directions they gave me (while I was on the phone) resulted in me ending up on the otherside of Milton Keynes. When I finally got to the hotel at midnight and only after I got directions from another hotel as oppposed to the one that I was actually staying at (!) I spoke with the duty manager (Mr S Diaz) and he simply shrugged his shoulders and didn't seem to care. I have to say that had I not checked in already I would have left there and then. I even told the duty manager that, that I was not at all impressed and I wouldn't be giving the hotel a favourable review and again he said he didn't care. The actual room was fine but the service I received from the staff was absolutely appalling and was the worst I have ever received !! I wouldn't bother staying here at all !!
