Excellent for a stopover.Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Location to town centre. The rooms
Stayed here whilst visiting a family function. Quick check in and very friendly reception staff. Our room was very cosy , beautiful warm and and inviting decor, great bed, lovely hot shower, plenty tea and coffee for that early morning thirst. We did not eat at the hotel so cant comment on food. Overhall a great place for a quick stopover. Would recommend to friends and family. Will stay again whenever I am in Luton.

Convenient for Town CentrePosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Location, staff
Cons: Quality of the food
Location: Very convenient for Luton town centre
The overall standard of the hotel was good and the staff were very courteous and helpful. Limited parking is available on site at no extra cost providing you are early enough to get a space. The hotel room was comfortable enough although the decor is somewhat dated. My only negative would be that the food I had wasn't up to much… ordered a chilli con carne - not much carne and the rice was very wet and seemed like boil in the bag style (I remember from my student days!). Location for me was great and overall, I would recommend though.

Near Luton airportPosted May 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
I thought the hotel was closer to the airport. No airport shuttle. Cab was 10 pounds each way

Nice hotel that I've used beforePosted Apr 28, 2014
Pros: On the whole the service here has been good and the rooms are comfortable
Cons: If the hotel wants to host parties and functions then it should have facilities that enable them to provide these without impacting on other guests.
Location: Luton town centre is only a 2 minute walk away. The route means using an underpass and walking down a particularly rough street which may bother some.
This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel, and although the majority of staff offer an excellent level of service I was disappointed by a couple if things this time around. I specifically chose a higher rate on Expedia to include breakfast but when checking in was told it wasn't included and had to pay the extra (which is expensive for what you get!) On top of this the hotel was hosting a large party in the public areas on Saturday evening, this took over the restaurant and normal lounge but there was no mention of this on check in on Friday. And the volume of noise from the party was beyond ridiculous! My room was on the third floor and I could hear every word of every song the disco played, I tried to call reception three times to ask how long it was going to be going on for and all three calls went unanswered! No doubt because hey couldn't hear the phone ringing! If a hotel wants to offer these facilities then they should have the ability to host them without it impacting on other guests stays so directly! I'll now think again before booking to stay here.

Choosing between….Posted Apr 6, 2014
….closing the curtains and air conditioning. I was unable to sleep at night as I had to choose between having the curtains closed and thus, not being subjected to the strong lights from outside and getting air from the air conditioner which was placed exactly behind the thick curtains. I had to go for the curtains so I didn't get any air at all at night. Good luck….

Good night's stay before flying from Luton.Posted Feb 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very good hotel to stay at for one night before travelling from Luton Airport. We had a very good Italian meal in their restaurant the evening before. The rooms were fine and the staff very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Good value for money. Great location close to the city center. Not many parking spots but somehow I was able to find one every night.

Very small room by US standards. Clean and well kept. Desk clerk could not speak English very well. Hard to communicate
