“room”

we had a nice relaxed night there, as we only stayed there for one night. the room was clean and very nice in side. it has everything you needed and the staff were very helpful. the only disapointment was that it was boiling in the room even with the windows open there was no fan or air con so it was very hot to sleep in.but everything else was great.

“Great Location”

The Park Inn is situated right next to Bedford town bridge - a beautiful location. You can watch the swans and people rowing on the river as you eat breakfast. The hotel was recently updated and the rooms are very nice. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good. The hotel is pretty quiet during the week but very busy at the weekends. I would recommend a room without a interconnecting door as it does not insulate out the noise from the next room. Also, ask for a room that overlooks the river. Also beware that the buffet breakfast is expensive if your room doesn't come with breakfast included.

“Weekend stay”

We were initially put in a twin room but my girlfriend managed to get us upgraded as she worked for a local paper. Our executive room which was on the seventh floor (706) was very comfortable and clean. We also had a great view over the River Ouse. One disappointing aspect was some residual mould around the window frame.

“Hotel”

The hotel was good ands in a great location next to the river. Rooms were clean modern and comfortable

“Disappointing stay”

Very dated and poor quality exterior. Very tired and uninviting reception hall and public areas. The narrow corridors and tiny lifts made me feel as if I were on a cross channel ferry! However, the room was clean, but very basic and the linens were of good quality. The decor leaves much to be desired. All staff were polite and helpful. A shame that hotel guests have to pay to park there!! Also there are internet connection costs of £5 per hour!! Not good

“Nice location. Poor hotel”

This hotel is being renovated so things may improve. There is inadequate space in the car park Only one lift is working leading to very long waits. Reception said that every air conditioner in the hotel was broken. Presumably they were just switched off to save money. Bit of an eyesore building too.

“Great staff, terrible property”

From continuous construction to billing errors, not much went right.

“Very Disappointed”

I stayed one night at this hotel and had a ground floor single room. The TV and Radio did not work and apart from the bathroom being very small it was also not particularly clean. When using the Bar there were no staff and I had to go to reception to ask to be served. I had a bar meal, nothing fancy just burger and chips which came out cold. In the morning I was woken by building work at 7am and hoovering outside my door at 7:30am despite leaving a do not disturb hanger on my door. Breakfast in the restaurant was supposed to be served until 09:30am. I got there at 09:00 to find it had all been packed away. When I asked for a cooked breakfast, it took a while to come out and was cold. On sending it back saying it was cold I was met with the waitress telling me it shouldnt be and when I said it was she huffed. When the same plate was returned it had quite clearly been microwaved and therefore had gone rubbery, hence it was not eaten or paid for! Extremely disappointing, will not stay again.
