The heating control didn’t work. There was no cup or glass in the room. I could hear talking through the interconnecting door, which wasn’t locked! The duty manager knocked on my door for no apparent reason. The escape stairs were covered with detritus.
The shower was good
Been here before, very clean, quiet, and very pleasant staff.

me and my partner stayed for the weekend, we had to moved rooms at 3am due to the tempature of the room being so cold.. even after that we was told that the air con goes to 27 only well after it hits that the air con starts blowing out cold air spent most the time freezing cold. no one seemed to want to help either. wouldnt stay again.

Car park was full! Reception staff very unhelpful. There had been a wedding night before and rubbish was everywhere over floor. Breakfast member of staff was lovely. Location nice.

Good, comfy, minor irritations
Room lovely clean and bright, up to date and beds v comfy. Sadly a loose component on the exterior of the window rattled all night long and disturbed our sleep. Our room had an adjoining door and so we were then woken at 530 am by next door’s radio/tv. The shower had a dodgy jet that squirted water all over bathroom floor.

Great location - in need of modernisation
Stayed in room 15. Was initially very cold in the room with the aircon left on by cleaners. Aircon/heating system isn’t very straight forward and had to request assistance from hotel staff. The room was still quite cold and so had to request a heater.
Gym is currently closed due to refurbishment and not mentioned on hotels.com or the hotel website. Entrance to hotel from the carpark needs updating as currently you have to be let in by someone at reception. Had to wait a couple of times as there was no one at the reception desk.
Cleaning standards can be improved as the stairs looked like the needed hoovering for the 5 days I stayed there was also a glass that was lying around for 3 days.
Location is excellent for staying in Bedford very close to city centre and reasonably priced car park.

The room is overpriced for what is on offer (small, incredibly basic) however is clean and staff were nice. There are definitely cheaper alternatives if you're looking for a budget hotel, or there is more quality available elsewhere for the same price

There were a number of points wrong with the room and the service staying at the hotel.
On providing the feeds back to the manager they then proceeded to argue the points, so I stopped my feedback and left.
The issues with the hotel and the service will continue and I won’t be staying there again.

Room was comfortable at best, furniture is looking tired. Time to replace the 1970s aluminum windows like they promised 6 years ago. Staff are outstanding from check in through breakfast and the bar.
Helpful and courteous. Big shout out to Stormy on the bar and Max for going out of his way to find my pants at the cleaners.

booked and paid for hotel 2 months ago. no room when we arrived the hotel blamed hotels.com who are not helping to be honest either we were put in a room the size of a cupboard with broken aircon and falling out windows after waiting for an hour in reception with a rude man who said it wasn't his problem i should be lucky he would help!so had no sleep hotel said fully booked so couldn't move us even though i could book rooms on there website problem with breakfast each morning as kept saying we hadn't paid for it although i paid when i booked and had the reservation to prove it. complained 3 times to hotel reception pointlessly they really don't care and hotels.com haven't been any help either
