“nice place”

We thought the hotel was much closer to Luton airport. It cost us 8 pounds to get there and it took about 20 minutes. The neighborhood was a little sketchy. Overall the hotel was nice and service was decent. For some reason, the shower water was lukewarm, which was disappointing after a cold London day. However, we would still recommend staying there.

“A bit of a distance from the airport”

My daughter and I stayed at the Quality hotel on our way back from Amsterdam. It bills itself as an airport hotel but in reality it is not that close to the airport. You have not choice but to take a taxi and the hotel is on the other side of the town of Luton. With a small tip it was ten pounds to get to the hotel and eight to get back to the airport the next morning. The room was fine and the breakfast which was included was OK. The price was great but you do need to factor in the travel cost. Two other hotels are within walking distance of the airport which could make them cheaper in the end.

“Good place to stay overnight”

A good, simple hotel. Ideal for a quick sleepover. Room was clean, modern and adequately furnished. The bed was very comfortable. Although the hotel was located on the main road, my room was at the back, it was extremely quiet. The curtain was of good quality and thickness which blacked out light in the morning. I had a wonderful sleep.

I had a flight from Luton Airport early in the morning and was arriving late from New York the night before. I had booked at another hotel which could not assure that anyone would be there. I chose the Quality Hotel Luton Airport for price. Reading the reviews after booking, I was concerned about getting to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport. It was not a problem for a veteran traveler. The hotel was fine. Taxi fees were less than other reviewers have said. A pleasant experience. Everything worked.

Excellent balance of service (friendly, efficient and not popous), features (room small but well equipped) and price. Great overnight hotel for that early flight out of Luton airport.

“Watch your head!”

The room itself was nice, with a comfy bed and working AC, so that was fine. My major problem was with the bathroom: the bowl was under the sloping part of the roof, with a parallel-to-the-floor addition which made it impossible to take a pee standing for anyone taller than 4'8": I'm almost 6', and that translated in bonking my head a few times. Also, the bathtub had a wall showerhead but no curtain or anything to avoid splashing on the floor, meaning that a pool formed at every shower. Also, the remote wasn't working so I had to change channels by hand. I don't mind doing so, but it's a pain when you're falling asleep... Continental breakfast was ok, English was nothing to write home about.

“Average hotel”

Over-priced for what you get. Room was pleasant enough, but small bathroom, no room service, and staff were not very helpful. Breakfast milk and yogurts etc were all warm.

“Do'nt go there”

Located in a run down area. Arrived at 3pm. Strange room numberings - was in room 201 which was on the first floor. Lift painfully slow. Room not ready so had to struggle back to reception to be given the story about staff on holiday and the number of rooms the temp staff had to cover! Room was then cleaned and put ready in about 10 minutes - so suspected it was not very thorough. Bed comfortable and layout much the same as a Premier Inn but needs a lot of TLC. Full English not included in price so settled for continental. Lift not working in morning.

“Great for an early flight”

Stayed here overnight to make an early flight from Luton - just the job.
