“Boutique Hotel in the Best Sense”
Sadot is a small boutique hotel with a modern, big city feel. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The property itself, consisting of a single floor in a larger building, is impeccable. The rooms are very nice decorated and in excellent condition, including the lobby and public bathrooms. A Happy Hour in the evening provides generous offerings of food and wine, and an equally nice breakfast starts the day. There is a complimentary computer in the lobby, plus a basket of DVDS for loan (no charge, but all are in Hebrew). Sadot was the only hotel in Israel we stayed in where the air-conditioning did not blow directly on the bed. There is a small, but convenient shopping mall in the building, so any last minute need can be acquired easily (simple restaurants, clothing, pharmacy, candy store, market, etc.). The hotel's airport shuttle is actually a free taxi ride to the airport which we preferred over a van. Billed as the closest hotel to the airport, the 15-minute commute felt long. (We did not see any hotels closer to the airport.) The only negative comment I can offer is the approach to the hotel. The hotel shares its entrance with a large hospital and has one of those famous Israeli "junctions" (a traffic circle). We arrived at a very busy time and had to navigate intense congestion.Overall, this is hotel is an excellent choice for a traveler. We would surely stay there again.
