On the whole a good hotel. Reception staff speak good English (even when I checked in at 10pm) and were very friendly and helpful. Corridors smell very strongly of smoke, but no smell in rooms. Good size room, great facilities, very clean. Restaurant has decent food but not great value - there are plenty of restaurants not far away. Would not recommend breakfast as plenty of better (value and quality) options nearby.
Hotel is very well located for city centre - Yong'anli is the nearest metro stop, take exit A2, walk behind LG Twin Towers, turn right and it is around a 2 minute walk. Small night-time market in street outside hotel - avoid buying, but very safe, no trouble.
Sightseeing tours desk in reception - would recommend you avoid if at all possible! I only went as non-Mandarin speaking and couldn't find a better way to see the Great Wall. You will visit all the sites promised, but you'll be taken to a Jade factory (high pressure to buy at outrageously inflated prices from a shiny salesroom), tea house (nice introduction with tea tasting, but absolutely rip-off prices) and best of all a complimentary foot massage - during which doctors and professors will appear from all sides, read your palm for 10 seconds in order to prescribe you essential medicine, only £180 per month for 3 months! Good to get you up to the Great Wall if you're alone, but find your own way to city centre attractions for a much better experience with much less hard-selling!
